770,146. Roofs; roofing sheets SJOSTROM. A. June 23. 1955. No. 18143/55. Classes 20(4) and 87(1) A wooden or like roof is 'covered with metal sheets 2 having corrugations 3 and ,tongues 8 welded or otherwise secured to the undersurfaces of the corrugations, adjacent a lateral edge, the first row of sheets adjacent the eaves of the roof having their tongues 8 engaging with members 7 driven into the roof and their upper edges secured by hooks 9, the tongues 8 of a second row of sheets are engaged with the upper edges of the first row of sheets. Adjacent sheets overlap at their side edges as shown in Fig. 3.
