710,443. Handle-bar control mechanism. FISCHER AKT.-GES. FUR APPARATEBAU. Dec. 10, 1951 [Dec. 12, 1950], No. 28903/51. Class 136(1) In an adjusting member for operating controls from the handle-bars of motor-cycles, which can be adjusted by the wrist without applying any substantial force and without loosening the hold of the fingers around the handgrip, the adjusting member 8, Fig. 2, or 13, Fig. 4, is constructed as a support for the palm of the hand, the support being adapted to be twisted co-axially of the handgrip. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2 a handgrip 2 is rotatably mounted on the handle-bar 1 and is rigidly connected with a rotatable disc 4 having a cover 3. The disc 4 is coupled with a wire cable having a sleeve 6 which is connected to - a tangential lug 7 of the cover 3. Alternatively, as shown in Fig. 4, a rotatably mounted adjusting ring 11 is supported on the handle-bar by ball bearings 9, a lever 13 being provided on the ring.
