629,186. Electrolytic condensers. PHILIPS LAMPS, Ltd. March 18, 1947, No. 7451. Convention date, May 19, 1944. [Class 37] [Also in Group XXII] Electrolytic condensers have electrodes of corrugated foil with the depth of the foil at the crests 6 of the corrugations exceeding the thickness D of the sides of the corrugations. Parallel grooves 1, 4 are formed by a profile press in both sides of a plane foil (e.g. 100Á thick), the grooves 4 -being located between grooves 1 on the other side. The foil is deformed until the crests 6 are 200Á thick and the sides D are 25Á thick. The electrodes are wound with the corrugations parallel to the axis of the condenser.
