Abstract

717,150. Electric condensers. BOSCH GES., R. April 10, 1952, [April 13, 1951.] No. 9161/52. Class 37. A self-seating condenser having the electrodes produced by vapour deposition has a dielectric of a completely or partially halogenated hydrocarbon wholly or substantially aliphatic in structure such as polyvinyl chloride, polytetra fluorethylene, polymonochlor trifluorethylene. In one form, paper is metallized on both sides, the two metal surfaces being connected together, and used with a foil of a halogenated hydrocarbon. The condenser may be impregnated with a supplementary dielectric wholly or substantially aliphatic in structure which may be halogenated.
