602,139. Testing alignment of flywheels. DAVIES, J. R Nov. 9, 1945. No. 29877. [Glass 106 (ii)] Apparatus for use in aligning flywheels comprises a base 1 with two uprights 2 with blocks 3, 4 within which are slidably mounted centre shafts 6 and 7. A fine adjustment for the shaft 7 is provided by a screw-shaft 10 rotated by a handle 11, the movement being transmitted to the centre-shaft by a flat plate 12. The centres may be locked in position by nuts with handles 13. An indicator 20 is attached by a swivelling arrangement to an arm 15 slidably mounted on a column 16 fixed to the guide block 4.
