[Class 107] [Also in Group XXIII] In a road cleaning machine comprising scrubbing means and wiping means, the wiping means consists of absorbent flaps g carried by rotatable rings h mounted on frame members a without axial support. The flaps g are carried by transverse bars j extending between two rings h. Each ring has integral with or attached to 'it a toothed ring m meshing with driving gears and forming an annular recess n which receives a flange o on the frame member a. The floor wheels s are rotatable on roller bearings r on flanged rings q secured to the frame members by screws. The water wrung from the flaps g is received by a tank f.
