Floors, cleaning and waxing. - A machine for treating floors is provided with detachable roller brushes for waxing the floor and with scouring rollers adapted to take the place of the roller brushes. As shown, the shaft 2 adapted to be driven, through worm gearing, by an electric motor 3 is provided with scouring rollers 4 removably mounted so that they can be withdrawn and replaced by roller bushes. Each roller has a covering 5 of resilient material such as felt, and scouring paper 6 coated with emery or similar material. The scouring paper is secured by a wedge engaging a groove in the roller.
