369,597. Spring systems. KARRIER MOTORS, Ltd., CLAYTON, R. F., AVERNS, R. DEAN-, and MEEK, P., Karrier Works, St. Thomas' Road, Huddersfield. Dec. 16, 1930, No. 37892. [Class 108 (ii).] In steering arrangements for motor vehicles of the kind wherein each of the arms of the forked member straddling the front steering wheel or wheels is itself forked and each end of the wheel axle is secured to the centre of a leaf spring the ends of which are carried by the ends of the forked arms, such springs constitute the sole connecting means between the axle and the steering member. The leaf springs d are pivoted at one end f to one arm of the fork member e and may be connected at the other end by a shackle or by sliding between rollers mounted on pins h as shown in Fig. 3.
