Abstract

326,750. Andrews, J. G. Aug. 15, 1929. Scissors - In scissors, shears, &c., the blades are pressed together when in use by means of a spring 21 house in a hole pivot pin 13 in the handle 20, drilled parallel to the portion 16 of one of the blades. The spring may press on the other handle portion 17 directly or through a hard steel stud 22 which has a short stem engaging the upper convolutions of the spring.
