Abstract

300,163. Kegresse, A. Nov. 7, 1927, [Convention date]. Addition to 285,047. Endless-track vehicles.-An endless track comprises a series of links 1 carrying the central removable tread blocks described in the parent Specification, these blocks being arranged to make contact with each other along a vertical line passing approximately through the pivoted axis of each link. The blocks may be resilient, and in that case they may be made slightly longer than the distance between the pivots of the links so that they are compressed when the track straightens out on the ground. The blocks may be staggered in plan as shown in Fig. 3, they may be hollowed as at 7, and they may be made in halves 9, 9 secured to the link by a bolt 8.
