Abstract

389,746. Hasp locks. KRAUSE, O., 17, Luisenstrasse, Iserlohn, Westphalia, Germany. Sept. 19, 1932, No. 26066. [Class 44.] A hasp lock may be held in locking position by a transversely sliding plate 16 which engages behind a tongue 15 by which the usual knob is secured to the bolt 10. The plate is guided by lugs 19, 20 and by its edge 16a resting against the outer casing 2. The lug 19 rests against the outside of the lock casing 6 and the lug 20 rests between an arm 11a of the bolt spring 11 and the lock casing. The surface of the lug 20 which engages the spring is convex. The plate 16 is operated by a knob. Additional security may be provided by a sliding plate adapted to engage with the hasp.
