Abstract

221,903. White, A. E., (Stewart-Warner Speedometer Corporation). July 4, 1923. Vacuum apparatus.-In a vacuum fuel-feed apparatus of the kind comprising a vacuum chamber 3 connected to a fuel supply by a pipe 5, to a source of suction by a port 6, and to atmosphere by a port 8, the passage from the chamber 3 to the auxiliary chamber is controlled by a rotary disc valve co-operating with ports in a fixed plate 21. The valve is operated with a snap action by a float 15 through a spring 26. The float actuates also the suction valve 7 and atmospheric valve 9 with a snap action by means of a lever 13 and a spring 18.
