Abstract

Vacumn apparatus. - In a fuel-feed device of the kind in which a vacuum is produced in the chamber 12 by means independent of the suction of the engine the vacuum chamber communicates through a non-return valve 19 with the chamber 10 connected to atmosphere by the pipe 34 and a valve 24 interrupting the suction is actuated by the float 33. A relief valve 29 for limiting the degree of vacuum is provided in the suction pipe 30. Reference has been directed' by the Comptroller to Specifications 124,808 and 125,147.
