Abstract
215,382. Rousseau, L. F. May 5, 1923, [Convention date]. Addition to 200,069. Springs, arrangement of; equalizing load on wheels and springs.-In the spring suspension described in the parent Specification, the transversely arranged levers, instead of being controlled by independent springs, are cranked and have corresponding arms connected together by springs. As shown, longitudinal levers 7 having a sliding connection at one end with the axle 3 as described in the parent Specification, are connected at the other end to a spring 12 by a chain &c. 21, and pivoted to the chassis at 14 and are connected together by springs 17. In combination with a rear axle suspended as described above the front axle 3<1> is carried by longitudinal levers 7<1> pivoted directly to the chassis at 26 and controlled by springs 12<1>.
