Axial-flow type; casings ; cooling and heating parts.-A number of nozzle diaphragms a are assembled without any play in one or more liners b which are formed in two parts bolted together and which are secured in a steam-tight manner to the casing by circular flanges z which fit in grooves f in the turbine casing with a clearance S to allow for expansion. The liners are surrounded by steam at pressures P, P<1>, P<2> so that the heating and expansion are approximately the same as for the diaphragms. Material of higher expansion coefficient may be used for the liners.
