Abstract

175,551. Baumann, K., and Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co., Ltd. March 17,1921. Machinery beds.-A turbine casing 1 is supported on plates 4, 6 and is restrained by a dowel 2 and two or more keys 11 inclined to the axis of the turbine. The keys maintain correct alignment of the casing when expansion of the casing due to heating occurs. The pedestal 8 is restrained by keys 10 in line with the axis of the turbine.
