Abstract

Apparatus for electrically testing automatic transmission systems of vehicles comprising a multicore interface lead (11) arranged to be connected into the connections to and from the automatic gear panel, and connected to a power oscillator arranged to simulate the speed sensitive generator output voltage, a first meter (3) to indicate electro- pneumatic valve current and a second meter (4) to indicate the output voltage of the speed sensitive generator, visual indicating means (5) for each gear position to indicate whether or not a fault is present on the gears and switching means (6, 7) to indicate the particular gear where a fault occurs. <IMAGE>
