180,221. Marks, E. C. R., (Smith Burner & Fuel Co.). June 9, 1921. Cooking-stoves ; fuel-holders.-A device for burning solid artificial fuel comprises a pan 2 to contain the fuel having in the bottom an aperture 4 adapted to register with an opening in the top-plate of a stove, from which aperture a flue 5 extends upwardly. The pan is provided with means for supporting a cooking-vessel and for admitting air round the edge of such vessel, consisting in the form shown of a cover 6 having air openings 8 at the edge. In a modification, the opening 4 and flue 5 are in the centre of the pan, and the openings 8 extend all round the edge of the cover.
