Abstract

Gas cooking-stoves; ovens; baffles.-A gas cooking-stove designed for use with the burner described in Specification 21038/13 comprises a bottom plate c having an opening closely fitting the burner a so that only hot gases are admitted, the gases being then checked by a baffle d and divided in any desired proportion between the interior of the oven and external side flues by the appropriate use of plain and perforated oven shelves. The gases after leaving the open and side flues enter a hot plate chamber 'having coned pot wells perforated at the top and eventually escape by perforations k at the back. The air for combustion is supplied through a secondary oven a<2>. Specification 23033/10 also is referred to.
