Gas cooking-stoves; ovens; linings. - A gas oven comprises a chamber e open at the lower and closed at the upper end, and separated by air-spaces from an outer casing a. The chamber is supported by flanges f resting on ledges g on the casing, and is preferably provided also with corner flanges h extending up the rear vertical edges. The combustion products either escape at the lower end of the casing, or as shown, they may be allowed to pass from the lower end into one or more of the jacket-spaces by perforations i in the lower flanges. The chamber e may be removable as a unit, and may be employed in existing ovens.
