Abstract

1316203 Photographic processing apparatus PENTACON DRESDEN KAMERA-UND KINOWERKE VEB 4 Feb 1971 3987/71 Heading G2A Photographic sheet film is transported in a U-shaped path through the treatment container 1 of a developing machine by means of roller system having conveyor rollers 4, 5, 6 and guide rollers 7, 8, 11, 16, 17, 18, all these rollers having the same diameter and deflector rollers 12, 13, 20, 21 of smaller diameter arranged in the interspaces between the guide rollers and having a peripheral speed greater than the conveyor rollers, guide rollers 7,19 and 11 pressing the film into contact with the conveyor rollers 4, 5 and 6 respectively whilst the other guide rollers are spaced from their respective conveyor rollers by a first distance greater than the film thickness, and the deflector rollers being spaced from the conveyor roller by a second distance greater than the first distance. The first distance amounts to 1À2 to 5 times the film thickness, and the second distance amounts to 8 to 20 times the film thickness. The guide and conveyor rollers are driven by intermeshing spur gears from aworm drive, and the deflector rollers are driven by friction wheels 14, 15, 22 mounted on the spindles of the conveyor rollers.
