Abstract

1292847 Photographic processing apparatus AGFA-GEVAERT A G 24 Nov 1969 [22 Nov 1968] 57370/69 Heading G2A A processing tank 1 for photographic film sheets 3 includes transport rollers 3 arranged to transport film sheets along a curved film path through the tank, a single guide roller 5 located so as to engage film sheets only on the convex side of a curved section of the film path in advance of a pair of co-operating transport rollers and arranged to guide the leading edges of the film sheets to the contact gap of the pair of transport rollers and deflecting means 4 arranged so to guide the leading edges of the film sheets to the guide roller that the leading edges are subsequently guided by the guide roller back to the film path, the deflecting means being further arranged so that as the leading edges of the film sheets pass over the guide roller the film sheets cease to be in contact with the deflecting means. The guide roller may be driven at the same peripheral speed as the transport rollers or the guide roller may be freely rotatable and driven by peripheral contact of a leading edge of a sheet.
