Abstract

1,061,128. Micrometers. TESA S.A. March 31, 1965, No. 13678/65. Heading G1M. An internal micrometer screw gauge comprises a measuring head 1, one or more intermediate members 2 and an end member 3, the or each intermediate members 2 and the end member 3 including a precision distance piece 12, 19 mounted in sleeves 11, 18 with interposed springs 13, 20. The head 1 has a barrel 4, and a thioble 6 and supports a measuring contact 7 at one end and a precision machined surface 10 at the other end to provide a distance C 1 in the zero position. In use, rotations of the barrel are shown on the scale 31. The members 1, 2, and 3 are provided with knurled parts 30, 21, 24 respectively for gripping.
