Abstract

Dos nuevos antibióticos, desacetil-890A1 y desacetil-890A3, activos contra las bacterias Gram-positivas y Gram-negativas, que son producidos respectivamente por tratamiento de 890A1 y 890A2 con una N-acetil-tienamicin-aminohidrolasa producida por un microorganismo de la tierra, aislado por técnicas de enriquecimiento. Esta invención también se refiere al procedimiento mediante el cual las estructuras N-acetiladas de los antibióticos de la clase de la tienamicina, tal como N-acetiltienamicina, pueden ser desacetiladas enzimáticamente.
