Abstract
Un proceso para producir producto de decabromodifeniletano derivado de la reacción de alto ensayo, procedimiento que comprende alimentar (i) difeniletano o (ii) difeniletano parcialmente bromado que tiene un número de bromo promedio de menos de dos, o (iii) tanto de (i) y (ii), en los confines de líquido de una mezcla de reacción, cuya mezcla de reacción es: a) formada a partir de componentes que comprenden bromo líquido en exceso y catalizador de bromación de ácido de Lewis basado en aluminio, y en la que al menos se alimenta (i), (ii) o (iii), y b) mantenida en una, o en más de una, temperatura de reacción elevada en el rango de 45ºC hasta 90ºC, y al menos cuando se necesita la presión elevada con el fin de mantener un estado líquido en la mezcla de reacción a la temperatura utilizada, la mezcla de reacción está en la presión elevada suficiente para mantener un estado líquido en la mezcla de reacción a la temperatura utilizada, c) para que ocurra la ar-bromación, la alimentación se lleva a cabo a una rata de no más de 0.5 g por minuto a través de cada tubo de inmersión en una escala de reacción de un litro a una temperatura de reacción de 60ºC para formar el producto de decabromodifeniletano derivado de la reacción de alto ensayo; y d) en donde la alimentación está en la forma de dos o más alimentaciones espaciadas individuales en los confines de la mezcla de reacción a partir de chorros u orificios dispuestos en uno o más dispositivos de alimentación o tubos de inmersión de tal forma que cada uno de los dos o más flujos individuales resultantes de (i) difeniletano o (ii) difeniletano parcialmente bromado que tiene un número promedio de bromo inferior a dos, o (iii) tanto de (i) y (ii) que emanan o surgen de estos chorros u orificios en la mezcla de reacción entra en contacto con el bromo en exceso y catalizador basado en aluminio en una porción de la mezcla de reacción global lo cual evita la superposición de los flujos de difeniletano y/o difeniletano parcialmente bromado que tiene un número promedio de bromo de menos de dos del uno o más otros chorros u orificios de tal manera que dos o más zonas de reacción localizadas espaciadas individuales se crean y mantienen dentro de los confines de la mezcla de reacción
