Uno de los problemas con los que se encuentran los constructores en la utilización de dicho tipo de portavigas es el de la falta de correspondencia de la longitud a cubrir con los tableros de piso, con respecto a la longitud individual de estos, es decir, solo en algunos casos la longitud total del vano a cubrir coincide con un múltiplo de la longitud de los tableros, que es habitualmente de unos 2 metros. Para ello, el inventor ha estudiado con detenimiento la distribución de los soportes según la longitud de un portacorreas estándar en comparación con las dimensiones de los tableros de encofrado, y con respecto a las dimensiones transversales de las vigas habitualmente utilizadas, con el resultado de que con una nueva distribución de los soportes de las correas en los portacorreas, se posibilita la utilización de los tableros estándar no solamente en disposición longitudinal, tal como es habitual, sino también en disposición transversal, lo que permite conseguir estructuras de encofrado de pisos cuya longitud sea igual a un número determinado de longitudes completas de tableros más unas fracciones compuestas por uno o varios fragmentos de longitud equivalente a la anchura de los tableros normalizados. Dicha fracción debe ser correspondiente a la de la anchura de un tablero normalizado, que habitualmente es de 0,50 metros, permitiendo además la disposición entre cada dos tableros, en posición transversal, de las correas correspondientes. Ello permitirá distribuir la longitud de portacorreas equivalente a un tablero en disposición longitudinal en varios tramos para la disposición de tableros transversalmente con un tramo final de ajuste de longitud. Así, por ejemplo, en el caso de tableros normalizados con longitud de 1,97 metros, se establecerán tres tramos de 0,55 metros y un tramo de 0,37 metros, comprendiéndose entre cada dos tramos los correspondientes apoyos para las vigas o correas, cuya anchura es de 0,05 metros, en la disposición más habitual.
