Definitions

  • the invention relates to a facing shell arrangement for fixing to a stick frame of a composite window, which has a stick frame, the facing shell arrangement having a facing shell which, when assembled, covers a pillar of the stick frame and is preferably made of aluminum. Furthermore, the invention relates to a composite window with such a facing shell arrangement
  • Composite windows are usually understood to mean wood-aluminium windows, but also plastic-aluminium windows or the like. These systems with an outer shell made of a metal profile are particularly weather-resistant and can therefore be used over the long term.
  • such building openings can also be closed with shading systems or other protective devices, which are arranged in the area of the building openings.
  • shading systems or other protective devices, which are arranged in the area of the building openings.
  • roller shutters, venetian blinds, textile screens or the like are used.
  • Such systems also offer privacy protection or provide additional insulation against the cold in winter.
  • hangings are typically guided in lateral guides on the outside of the window arrangement and are raised to open or lowered to close. In the open position, they are usually held in a wrap over the window arrangement in the lintel area.
  • insect screens or the like which offer additional special protection and can usually be operated in the same way.
  • the guides for such protective devices have an approximately U-shaped guide channel in cross section, which is open to the side in such a way that guide devices positioned on both sides of the window arrangement face one another and receive the protective device between them in a form-fitting manner.
  • the curtain can then only be moved in a vertical direction, with the guide channels being open at the top and leading there into the winding in the lintel area.
  • Such guide devices are offered and provided separately from the window arrangement as a guide or attachment rail in order to ensure the greatest possible freedom with regard to the design options for the components.
  • a guide or attachment rail is, for example, from DE 199 46 405 A1 known.
  • this has proven to be disadvantageous in practice, since the guide device on the one hand and the window arrangement on the other hand are provided separately from one another, must be matched to one another and processed separately on the construction site. The installation effort is therefore quite considerable.
  • guide or attachment rails are often perceived as visually disturbing, since they are perceived as foreign bodies on the floor frame.
  • this object is achieved by a front shell arrangement having the features of claim 1.
  • This is characterized in particular by the fact that it has an integrated guide rail for a curtain that can be raised and lowered, such as a roller shutter, a venetian blind or the like.
  • the guide rail is connected to the facing shell by a snap-in connection or by a holder.
  • the present invention is thus based on the finding that it is advantageous if the guide rails and the facing shells for the composite window are no longer considered separately from one another, but as a unit.
  • these components can be matched to one another in a particularly advantageous manner, which simplifies their handling and assembly. This applies both to the provision of the components of the facing shell arrangement according to the invention and to their attachment to the stick frame of the composite window.
  • the guide rail and the facing shell can be offered and delivered as a package. They are matched to each other, which speeds up the assembly of the assembly, which is also very advantageous in terms of processing costs.
  • the invention thus takes a complete turn away from previous systems and thus makes it easier and cheaper to provide and install protective devices or the like for building openings.
  • a plurality of locking elements which are offset relative to one another and on which the at least one latching element on the guide rail can be selectively fixed are arranged on the facing shell on the side facing the guide rail. Then there is the possibility of adapting the system variably to the local conditions and, for example, the clear width between two guide profiles by selecting suitable blocking elements to select.
  • the facing shell can therefore be used for window arrangements with different dimensions or accommodate differently defined protection systems or curtains. This allows the variety of components to be reduced and thus the provision of such facing shells to be simplified.
  • At least one latching element is arranged on the facing shell on the side facing the guide rail, which is fixed in at least one locking element on the guide rail that is positioned appropriately for this purpose.
  • the assignment of latching element and blocking element on the components facing shell and guide rail can also be chosen the other way around, which is advantageous in certain applications. The system thus allows an even better adaptation to the local conditions or the desired embodiments for composite windows of this type.
  • the locking connection is made by a hook-shaped engagement.
  • Such a connection can be made particularly quickly using simple means and is characterized by great reliability and durability.
  • the form fit formed in this way resists external influences such as wind suction loads, attempted break-ins or the like to a particularly good degree.
  • the latching connection can be produced by attaching the guide rail in a direction transverse to a glazing plane.
  • the installation can then be carried out particularly easily, since an installation direction transverse to the glazing plane is generally freely accessible.
  • the guide rail can thus be attached to the facing shell in a particularly simple and quick manner.
  • the snap-in connection is also possible for the snap-in connection to be produced by attaching the guide rail in a direction parallel to a glazing plane. Good accessibility is also provided in this fastening direction and a reliable holding connection can be established. In addition, the entire system is then even more reliable against external attacks such as wind suction, Protected against burglary attempts or the like, since these usually attack perpendicular to the direction of installation of the guide rail.
  • a holder is used for the multi-part configuration, it is of further advantage if the holder is a snap-in holder. This makes assembly even easier, since the guide rail then only has to be placed and engaged with the facing shell in a latching manner. This can be carried out very quickly and therefore inexpensively.
  • the holder has a holding function on both sides and positively engages both in the guide rail and in the facing shell.
  • the retaining connection can then be established very quickly and reliably on both parts.
  • the assembly is thus further simplified, which also has a positive effect in terms of costs.
  • a composite window is provided according to claim 10 with a stick frame and with a facing shell arrangement of the type according to the invention fastened to pillars of the base frame, each having a facing shell which covers a pillar of the base frame.
  • This composite window is characterized in that guide rails for a curtain that can be raised and lowered, such as a roller shutter, a venetian blind or the like, are arranged on the facing shells on the side of the composite window.
  • the provision of the facing shells with the guide rails is thus achieved in one system, which is particularly advantageous in terms of handling, the provision effort, the resulting Costs and in particular the assembly work is. Further advantages of the composite window according to the invention have already been explained in detail above with reference to the facing shell arrangement.
  • the facing shell arrangement can be traded independently as an independent component and is therefore also available on the market separately from the other components of the composite window. This can be used in particular as a retrofit element or replacement element. For new building measures, however, it is intended to offer the composite window as a whole system in the manner according to the invention.
  • Guide devices for an insect protection arrangement pointing towards one another, can thus be arranged on the facing shells present on the side of the composite window.
  • Such an insect protection device can therefore be reliably performed on the composite window according to the invention. This is possible in addition to the roller shutter or the like, so that such systems can be easily combined with one another on a composite window. The installation of the composite window is thus simplified even further.
  • holding devices for fall protection can also be arranged on the lateral bars of the floor frame.
  • a fall protection device can easily be integrated into the composite window according to the invention and can be present next to the roller shutter or the like and, if necessary, the insect protection device.
  • Such a complete system in turn simplifies assembly and brings with it a considerable reduction in time and costs.
  • FIG. 1 to 5 an embodiment of a composite window 1 not belonging to the invention is shown.
  • the figures present five variants of this, which differ essentially in the shape of the facing shell arrangement and additionally arranged components.
  • the Figures 1 to 5 each show a section through a side stick frame spar of composite window 1.
  • the composite window 1 has a stick frame 2 and a sash frame 3 . These are made of wood.
  • the composite window 1 has a facing shell arrangement 4a and a casement panel 5 on the outside. These are made of a metal, namely aluminum, designed.
  • the Front shell arrangement 4a and the wing panel 5 are fixed in a manner known per se by rotary holders on the floor frame 2 or wing frame 3.
  • the composite window 1 is thus in the form of a wood-aluminium composite window.
  • a glazing 6 is held in the wing frame 3 in cooperation with the wing panel 5 .
  • the seals that are usually provided are arranged in the system structure of the composite window 1, with a more detailed description of them being omitted at this point.
  • the facing shell arrangement 4a has a facing shell 41a and a guide rail 42a. In this embodiment, these are formed in one piece with one another, which is why this embodiment does not belong to the invention. In other words, the facing shell arrangement 4a is pressed as a piece of strand.
  • the facing shell 41a essentially has the usual shape for a facing shell.
  • the guide rail 42a has a substantially U-shaped cross section and is open in the direction of the glazing 6 .
  • a mirror-inverted facing shell arrangement 4a is arranged in such a way that the openings of the guide rails 42a face one another and receive a roller shutter, not shown here, in a form-fitting manner in the sectional plane shown.
  • the guide rails 42a serve to accommodate the roller shutter, which can be moved up and down in the guide rail 42a.
  • the C-shaped mounts on the legs of the U-shaped guide channel are used to hold rubber strips or brush strips to prevent the roller shutters from rattling.
  • a second variant of the composite window 1 is shown with a facing shell arrangement 4b, which differs from the facing shell arrangement 4a of the first variant.
  • the facing shell arrangement 4b has a facing shell 41b with a somewhat different geometry.
  • the main difference is that the guide rail 42b in this Variant closer to the glazing 6 of the composite window 1 is present, so that a slightly narrower overall shutters can be included herein.
  • the other elements are each configured identically to the previous embodiment.
  • the facing shell arrangement 4c has a facing shell 41c, which provides a receiving space for an insulating element 43.
  • This can consist of any desired insulating material; in the present embodiment it is a foamed plastic.
  • the composite window 1 has a facing shell arrangement 4d, in which an insect protection arrangement 7 is accommodated.
  • the cross-sectional shape of a facing shell 41d is modified in such a way that it provides a guide device 44 for the insect protection arrangement 7 .
  • This guide device 44 also has an essentially U-shaped form.
  • the composite window 1 in this fourth variant also has a fall protection device 8, which is required for French doors or the like in order to prevent a person from falling.
  • the anti-fall device 8 ensures that the composite window 1 has a predetermined parapet height of at least one meter, for example.
  • the fall protection 8 consists of double glazing 81, ie two glazing elements which are glued together.
  • This double glazing 81 is held between a leg of the facing shell 41d and a support bracket 82 which is fixed to the floor frame 2.
  • a retaining hook 83 is also fixed to the floor frame 2, which engages with a complementary hook on the front shell 41d.
  • both the anti-fall protection 8, the insect protection arrangement 7 and a conventional roller shutter are combined in one system on a composite window 1.
  • FIG 5 a further modified embodiment of the composite window 1 is shown.
  • This differs from the fourth variant 4 in that a Venetian blind 9 is guided in a guide rail 42e instead of the roller shutter.
  • a correspondingly adapted facing shell arrangement 4e has a facing shell 41e, which in turn is designed in one piece with the guide rail 42e.
  • the first embodiment of the composite window 1 also has the stick frame 2 and the casement frame 3 .
  • the wing panel 5 is also unchanged.
  • a facing shell arrangement 14a has a multi-part design, the components of which are coupled directly to one another.
  • the facing shell arrangement 14a has a facing shell 141a which carries a guide rail 142a.
  • the facing shell 141a has a plurality of locking elements 143a, in which two latching elements 144a of the guide rail 142a engage.
  • the locking elements 143a and the latching elements 144a are positively engaged with one another in that they engage behind one another. In this way, the facing shell 141a and the guide rail 142a are stably engaged with each other.
  • the number of locking elements 143a exceeds that of the locking elements 144a, so that there is freedom of choice with regard to the positioning of the guide rail 142a on the facing shell 141a.
  • a front shell arrangement 14a arranged in mirror image is arranged on the other side rail of the stick frame 2, so that the guide rails 142a face one another with their open sides for receiving a roller shutter, not shown here.
  • the facing shell arrangement 14a is also fixed to the stick frame 2 by means of two rotary connectors.
