Definitions
- the invention relates to a seal for a hermetically closing door according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Hermetically closing doors lower in the last millimeter of travel towards the frame.
- the door leaf performs next to a movement in the x direction, also a movement in the z direction and optionally also in the y direction.
- This additional movement serves to ensure that the circumferential seal of the door leaf comes into contact with the frame and the floor with a certain contact pressure.
- an unwanted mass transfer can be prevented from one room to another.
- the current safety standard prescribes in all automatic sliding doors that the maximum distance between the movable door leaf and the fixed parts, e.g. The frame must not exceed 8 millimeters to prevent pinching or pulling in a finger. In the case of hermetic doors, there is an additional 5 mm clearance which must not be exceeded in the foot area in order to prevent the toes from being pulled in or pinched.
- the DE 10 2008 008 717 A1 shows a side seal profile with which the gap between two sliding doors is covered such that injuries in particular due to pinching prevented or impeded.
- a side sealing profile has a protruding, in cross section straight running and elastically deformable sealing lip. It extends from a substantially rigid mounting portion at an acute angle to a direction of movement of the respective sliding door leaf
- This finger-shaped clamping protection portion of a side seal profile protrudes from the associated sliding door leaf with such a predetermined extent that it does not exceed or fall below a predetermined maximum distance from the adjacent sliding door leaf in order to prevent engagement in this area.
- This maximum distance is preferably 8 millimeters.
- the door can perform next to the horizontal movement in the x direction no additional movement in the z or y direction, otherwise the seal buckles uncontrollably and no reliable sealing effect can be achieved.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object to provide a seal which prevents accidental insertion of fingers or toes without additional sensors for engagement detection and with a small force to be applied a high sealing effect, each time the sliding door leaf relative to the frame achieved.
- an essential feature of the invention is that the finger-shaped sealing rib which has a distance of less than or equal to eight, respectively five millimeters from a fixed part of their environment, in the interior of a symmetrical hollow profile is added and projects into the interior of the hollow profile spacer.
- the seal according to the invention is fastened to a circumferential chamfer of a door leaf, which preferably forms an angle of ideally 45 ° to the vertical at the horizontal and vertical end face.
- the symmetry axis of the hollow profile of the seal extends at this angle.
- peripheral bevel of the door leaf is not limited to an angle of 45 ° degrees, and an angle, for example in a range between 30 ° and 70 ° degrees is possible to mount the seal of the invention.
- the longitudinal center axis of the sealing rib is at an angle of 90 ° from the chamfer.
- the tip of the sealing rib protrudes with a defined distance relative to the end face of the door leaf.
- the lowest point of the concave arc is in line with the top of the sealing rib, this line passing through the door-side guide.
- a pin is formed, which engages in a slot-shaped guide the door-side chamfer.
- the sealing rib is made of a harder rubber (higher Shore hardness) than the surrounding hollow profile of the seal.
- the shape of the present seal consists of an outer curved contour, which has two convex arcs, which define a concave arc between them, and a finger-shaped inner contour (sealing rib).
- This seal shape has the advantage that an optimal seal is achieved both against a wall or frame and against a bottom surface.
- This outer contour encloses the inner contour, which is preferably designed as a finger-shaped sealing rib. Between these two contours is a cavity in which the inner contour extends.
- the inner contour is preferably formed of a harder rubber, which has a higher Shore hardness than the outer contour.
- the sliding door seals already by the application of a low contact pressure, due to the lowering of the door, the outer contour comes into contact with the opposite, rigid surface of the frame or the like. This prevents the ingress of dirt.
- the present seal can be made, for example, by extrusion and can be cut to the required size.
- This sealing body which consists of the inner and the outer contour, is mounted on a door leaf, that the entire seal protrudes at an angle of ideally 45 ° from this door leaf.
- the door leaf has for this purpose a circumferential chamfer, which also has an angle of ideally 45 °.
- the seal according to the invention is attached to the entire circumference of the door leaf.
- the seal is mounted in a guide extending in the chamfer.
- the guide is slit-shaped, wherein the seal engages over a pin in the guide.
- the present invention is not limited to the use of a Pintle limited, any other profile shape can be used for mounting the seal on the circumferential chamfer.
- the gasket can not fold up and do not buckle uncontrollably. By this sealing contour thus no leaks, especially in the corner areas.
- tolerance compensation is also possible if the door leaf does not move with a constant distance relative to the frame or if there is a slight tilting of the door leaf.
- the configuration of the outer contour has the advantage that when a plane change, i. When the door leaf moves in the y or z direction, the sealing contour always rests evenly.
- the outer contour may include friction reducing means, which surface may be surface treated to have low friction.
- the tip of the inner contour has a distance of 8 or 5 millimeters from the opposite wall and frame, respectively floor, so that the safety distance can always be maintained.
- This safety function is achieved on the entire circumference of the sliding door, so that even at the bottom of an anti-pinch protection for toes is given.
- the inner contour can have as a reinforcement an insert made of a metallic material.
- the ideal 45 ° degree arrangement of the soft, circumferential outer seal creates an optimum sealing contour because the convex arches of the seal can be bent away laterally. The one convex arc is pressed backwards, while the concave arc is pressed down.
- the seal for hermetic doors thus combines two functions in one part. First, the safety aspect of the finger and toe protection and second, ensuring an optimal seal with a minimum of effort required.
- FIG. 1 shows the door leaf 1 a sliding door with a circumferential seal 2.
- the door leaf can move in the direction of the arrow 21, 23, 24 (x, y, z direction).
- This seal 2 applies in the closing process with a defined contact pressure to a frame and on the ground.
- This peripheral profile 20 has a chamfer 3, which extends at an angle 8 of ideally 45 ° degrees on the outside of the edge profile 20.
- This chamfer 3 is thus located on the entire circumference of the door leaf 1.
- the seal 2 according to the invention is mounted in a guide 4 extending in the chamfer 3.
- the guide 4 is slot-shaped, wherein the seal 2 engages via a pin 5 in the guide 4.
- the seal 2 consists of an outer contour 6 and an inner contour 7 enclosed by the outer contour. Between the outer contour 6 and the inner contour 7 there is the cavity 11, in which the inner contour 6 extends as a finger-shaped sealing rib 9. The tip 25 of the sealing rib 9 forms the outermost point of the contour. 7
- the sealing rib 9 is at an angle of 90 ° from the oblique chamfer 3 of the door panel 1 from.
- the profile shape of the outer contour 6 is formed by two convex arcs 17, 18 and a concave arc spanned between the convex arcs 19.
- the lowest point of the concave arch 19 is in line with the top 25 of the sealing rib 9. This line passes through the guide 4 and thus protrudes at an angle of 90 degrees from the surface of the chamfer 3.
- the tip 25 of the sealing rib 9 protrudes at a distance 10 with respect to the end face 28 of the door leaf 1.
- the sealing rib 9 may have a core 12 made of a metallic material as a reinforcement.
- the core 12 is hollow.
- FIG. 3 shows the distance 13, which exists between the tip 25 and the closing edge 15 of a wall 14 or a fixed wing. While according to FIG. 3 moves the circumferential edge profile 20 in the direction of arrow 21, the distance 13 between the tip 25 and the closing edge 15 is always the same. This distance is less than or equal to 8 millimeters, according to the security guidelines.
- the convex sheet 17 forms in longitudinal extent parallel to the end face 28, the contact edge 27, which is arranged at a distance 22 relative to the closing edge 15. This distance 22 is less than 8, respectively 5 millimeters.
- the lowering consists of a double movement, wherein the door leaf 1 moves in the direction of arrow 23 (y-direction) and in the direction of arrow 24 (z-direction).

Abstract
