Neben reinen Mobilkränen sind deshalb in letzter Zeit verstärkt sogenannte Aufbaukräne im Einsatz, bei denen der Kranoberwagen auf das Chassis eines herkömmlichen Lastkraftwagens aufgebaut wird.
