Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method for operating an open-end rotor spinning device with a replaceable, single-motor driven spinning rotor and an open-end rotor spinning device with an exchangeable spinning rotor and a single-motor drive for driving the spinning rotor.
- a spinning rotor rotates to spin a yarn at a high speed.
- different spinning rotors are required.
- the spinning rotor is a wearing part.
- the spinning rotors are usually interchangeable.
- the spinning rotors differ mainly in their diameter and shape. The diameter and shape influence the permissible speed. Smaller rotors can be operated at higher speeds. A large spinning rotor requires lower speeds because the higher centrifugal forces can otherwise lead to damage.
- the rotor diameter influences the possible yarn count.
- the DE 101 17 095 A1 discloses to provide the spinning rotor and other interchangeable machine components of spinning machinery with an identification tag. With an appropriate arrangement of the identification mark this can be detected automatically, so the configuration of a spinning station is automatically retrieved.
- the information of the acquired information tags may be communicated to a controller to, for example, make a data check as to whether the set desired type of yarn is compatible with the type of replaceable machine component installed at each spinning station.
- the automatic configuration acquisition at each spinning station flows into quality assurance. In addition, the operating and operating safety can be increased.
- the DE 44 04 243 B4 relates to a method for operating an open-end rotor spinning device with a single-motor electric drive of the spinning rotor, wherein the different operating phases of the spinning rotor with respect to the rotational speed are regulated according to predefinable functions.
- the electric power supplied to the drive becomes continuous and the actual value profile of a quantity representing the energy supply is continuously compared with the desired value profile profile assigned to the respective operating phase.
- the detection occurs both during startup and during normal spinning operation. This should be detected disturbances due to contamination in the storage area of the spinning rotor. It is mentioned that, in principle, the rotational speed of the spinning rotor can be monitored to detect such disturbances. The deviations in the speed are, however, significantly lower than in the power supply.
- the object is achieved by a method for operating an open-end rotor spinning device with a replaceable, single-motor driven spinning rotor .
- the spinning rotor is accelerated from a first speed to a predetermined second speed with a predetermined power, and the acceleration time required for the acceleration from the first speed to the second speed is detected and evaluated as the evaluation quantity.
- the spinning rotor is accelerated with a predetermined power from a first speed for a predetermined acceleration time and the second speed reached in this time is detected and evaluated as an evaluation variable.
- the invention is based on the finding that the acceleration depends on the diameter of the spinning rotor.
- a small spinning rotor accelerates faster than a large spinning rotor due to its lower mass inertia.
- the diameter is a characteristic feature of the spinning rotor.
- an inserted spinning rotor can be identified on the basis of the evaluation value.
- the operational safety is increased because a wrongly inserted rotor can be detected.
- the invention thus makes it possible in a simple way to identify a rotor which does not match the set spinning and yarn parameters; In particular, it can be prevented that a rotor is not operated at too high speeds.
- the first speed may be zero or a non-zero speed. However, a nonzero speed is beneficial. Stiction effects during startup can be overcome from a standstill and affect the acceleration time can be avoided.
- the first speed is less than the second speed. That means the acceleration is positive.
- the first speed may also be greater than the second speed. The acceleration would then be negative.
- the first speed and the second speed should be less than a limit speed. This limit speed results from the permissible speed of the spinning rotor with the largest diameter, which is mountable in the open-end rotor spinning device.
- a reference value of the evaluation variable is determined for at least one spinning rotor having a predetermined diameter.
- the detected evaluation variable is preferably compared with the reference value of the evaluation variable of the at least one spinning rotor having the predetermined diameter.
- the at least one spinning rotor having the predetermined diameter represents a given spinning rotor.
- a display is made.
- the reference value of the evaluation variable thus allows the simple determination of whether a spinning rotor with the predetermined diameter is arranged in the open-end rotor spinning device or not.
- the display can be in the form of a simple warning, for example, yellow or red lamp at the spinning station, or a text hint in a display. In addition to the displays can also be a shutdown of the spinning station.
- the permissible rotational speed of the spinning rotor is limited as a function of the detected evaluation variable. That is, it is ensured that an inserted spinning rotor is operated only at speeds that lead to no damage.
- a reference value of the evaluation variable may be assigned a limit speed.
- the reference value of the evaluation variable corresponds to a predetermined diameter of the spinning rotor. All spinning rotors that have a larger diameter are not operated at a speed greater than the limit speed.
- the present invention also relates to an open-end rotor spinning device.
- the open-end rotor spinning device comprises a control device which controls the drive of the spinning rotor so that the spinning rotor with a predetermined power is accelerated from a first speed to a second speed, and the required for the acceleration of the first speed to the second speed Acceleration time is detected and evaluated as evaluation value, or that the spinning rotor is accelerated with a predetermined power of a first speed for a given acceleration time and the second speed reached in this time is detected and evaluated as an evaluation variable.
- the control device comprises a memory in which a reference value of the evaluation variable of at least one spinning rotor having a predetermined diameter is stored. The control device is further configured to compare the detected evaluation variable with the reference value of the evaluation variable of the at least one spinning rotor having the predetermined diameter.
- the open-end rotor spinning device according to the invention can be implemented easily.
- Known open-end rotor spinning devices with a single-motor drive usually already have a control device with a memory.
- the inventive design can be easily implemented by software adaptation and storage of the required reference values.
- the speed and time required for the invention are usually already available. Additional facilities, such as markers or sensors, are not required.
- the at least one spinning rotor having the predetermined diameter represents a predetermined spinning rotor and the control device is designed to generate a display for a given deviation of the detected evaluation variable from the reference value of the evaluation variable.
- the control device is designed to generate a display for a given deviation of the detected evaluation variable from the reference value of the evaluation variable.
- possibly existing display means can be used or adapted.
- the control device is preferably designed to limit the permissible rotational speed of the spinning rotor as a function of the detected evaluation variable. In other words, the control unit ensures that a limit speed is not exceeded.
- the limit speed depends on the detected evaluation value and thus from the diameter of the spinning rotor.
- the limitation of the speed is solely for operational safety. Yarn and spinning parameters can otherwise be chosen freely.
- the Fig. 1 shows an open-end rotor spinning device according to the invention 1.
- the structure of an open-end rotor spinning machine is basically known in the art, so that the known details will not be discussed here.
- the present open-end spinning device differs only in certain functionalities of the known open-end spinning devices, which will be explained later. In Fig. 1 Therefore, only the rough principle is shown.
- the spinning rotor 2 is connected interchangeably with the rotor shaft 6 by a coupling device 5.
- the rotor shaft 6 forms the rotor of an electric single drive 3.
- the drive 3 is controlled by the control device 4.
- different spinning rotors 2 are inserted into the open-end rotor spinning device 1.
- FIGS. 2 and 3 show the speed n of two different, inserted into the open-end spinning device spinning rotors A and B over time t.
- the spinning rotor is accelerated from the speed n 1 to the speed n 2 .
- the conditions under which the acceleration process takes place are identical, in particular the drive is operated and charged with the same power; the spinning rotors A and B each with the same drive torque.
- the spinning rotor B has a larger diameter As the spinning rotor A.
- the acceleration time t B of the spinning rotor B is greater than the acceleration time t A of the spinning rotor A.
- the larger diameter has a higher inertia and thus a greater acceleration time result.
- the acceleration time t A , t B is the time required to accelerate the spinning rotor A, B from the speed n 1 to the speed n 2 .
- the control device 4 can automatically initiate an acceleration process from the rotational speed n 1 to the rotational speed n 2 and thereby determine the acceleration time.
- the speed n 1 and the acceleration time t A , t B can be specified.
- the speed n 2 is determined, which is reached after the predetermined acceleration time.
- the controller may monitor the opening of the box lid. Since the proper closing of the box lid for safety reasons must be monitored anyway, a corresponding sensor is usually available anyway.
- the control device 4 has a memory in that the reference values of the acceleration time t A , t B or the rotational speed n 2 are stored for the spinning rotors used.
- the measured acceleration time is compared by the control device with the reference values of the acceleration time t A , t B and the rotational speed n 2 . This can be checked whether the right spinning rotor has been inserted. In case of deviations, a corresponding note is sent to the operator.
- the present invention further provides a protection function. That is, depending on the diameter determined over the acceleration time or the speed n 2, a limit speed is set. The control device 4 ensures that the limit speed is not exceeded regardless of an operating speed set by the operator.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1
- eine erfindungsgemäße Offenend-Rotorspinneinrichtung;
- Fig. 2

- Drehzahlverlauf beim Beschleunigen eines zweiten Spinnrotors.
- Die
Fig. 1 zeigt eine erfindungsgemäße Offenend-Rotorspinneinrichtung 1.
