Definitions

  • the invention relates to a roof window with a frame and with respect to the frame movable, a glazing-bearing sash, wherein the frame has at least one Blendrahmenholm on which a along the frame frame extending cover plate is secured by a fastening device.
  • the roof window is intended for installation in a building, in particular in a roof of the building.
  • the skylight has the frame, which is finally fixed stationary with respect to the building, and the sash.
  • the casement is displaceable with respect to the frame, in particular rotatable about a rotation axis.
  • the casement is preferably mounted on the frame.
  • the sash frame carries the glazing of the skylight.
  • the glazing can be designed as single glazing or as multiple glazing, in particular double glazing, triple glazing or quadruple glazing.
  • the glazing is enclosed, for example, by wing frame members of the sash, in particular two vertical beams and two horizontal beams are provided.
  • the frame also preferably has two vertical bars and two horizontal bars.
  • the initially described frame frame spar is present as one of these spars. In each case two of the spars, so the sash or the Blendrahmenholme are connected to each other, in particular, each of the vertical beams is connected to each of the horizontal bars.
  • the cover plate is arranged parallel to a longitudinal center axis of the frame spar and overlaps the frame spar in the direction of its longitudinal central axis at least partially, but preferably completely.
  • the cover plate can be designed in one piece or in several parts. It is preferably made of the same material, so it consists of the same material throughout. For example, a sheet metal is used as the material for the cover plate.
  • the frame spar in the context of this description is preferably in the form of a vertical spar whose longitudinal central axis is at least approximately parallel to a roof skin of the roof, in which the roof window is arranged, runs.
  • the cover plate is fastened by means of the fastening device on the frame spar.

  • the frame spar 4 now has an end face 41, which is at least partially overlapped by the latter after the arrangement of the holding part 10 on the frame spar 4.
  • the holding part 10 is close to the end face 41, so that the cavity 39 is closed by the holding part 10 weatherproof.
  • the holding part 10 extends up to the top surface 32 of the further frame frame spar 5 in order to completely cover the end face 41 together with the latter, and thus reliably and tightly close the cavity 39 or the cavities 39.
  • FIG. 4 shows the roof window 1 without the cover plate 7 and the cover 11 is shown, however, the holding part 10 which is fixed to the frame spar 4.
  • Recognizable is now the form-fitting fastening means 13, which serves for the positive retention of the cover 11 on the holding part 10.
  • the form-fitting fastening device 13 is designed such that the cover member 11 is pushed in the direction of the longitudinal center axis of the frame spar 4 on the holding part 10 and locked with this.
  • the form-fit fastening device 13 serves to produce a preferably releasable latching connection between the cover part 11 and the holding part 10.
  • FIG. 5 shows a schematic representation of the roof window 1, wherein now the wing frame 3 can be seen in some areas.
  • the positioning device 23 On a casement spar 42 of the casement 3, which is present as a vertical spar, the positioning device 23 is arranged or fixed. Preferably, the positioning device 23 bears against an outer side surface 43 of the sash frame spar 42.
  • the positioning device 23 may be fastened to the casement spar 42 by means of at least one screw 44, in the exemplary embodiment illustrated here, two screws 44.
  • the positioning device 23 has a sash web 45, which is arranged substantially perpendicular to a glazing plane of a glazing of the roof window 1, not shown here.
  • the casement web 45 is arranged such that it comes in a closing of the roof window 1 or a corresponding displacement of the casement 3 relative to the frame 2 in abutting contact with the positioning projection 17. Together with this he pushes the sash 3 in the lateral direction in a desired position.
  • a positioning device 23 is preferred on both sides of the sash frame 3 arranged, wherein the sash webs 45 protrude laterally in opposite directions.
  • a plurality of fastening devices 6 or a plurality of positioning projections 17 are arranged on the window frame 2, namely on opposite sides of the roof window 1.
  • another sash web 46 may be provided. This is preferably arranged parallel to the sash web 45, but spaced therefrom.
  • the further sash web 46 has, for example, a smaller longitudinal extension than the sash web 45. It may have the same or a larger overhang than the sash web 45. The supernatant is understood to be the extension in the direction away from the sash 42.
  • the sash webs 45 and 46 preferably have the same width. However, it can also be provided that the wing frame web 46 is wider or narrower than the sash web 45th
  • the roof window 1 described above has many advantages over known skylights. Thus, it allows a quick assembly due to the integration of the positioning projection 17 in the fastening device 9, which serves to attach the cover plate 7 on the sash 3.
  • the holding part 10 of the fastening device 9 seals the frame spar 4 on its end face 41 in an advantageous manner.
