  • the invention further relates to a use of the heat exchanger.
  • a box lid can be made of deep-drawn sheet metal, which is soldered to the block in the manufacturing process. While this has advantages in the high temperature range, attachments such as e.g. Holders or flanges for sensors are manufactured as additional parts from sheet metal and are connected to the box lid before soldering, which makes the manufacturing process more complicated. In addition, a more elaborate box shape usually can not be used in a known heat exchanger.
  • BEST ⁇ TOiLJINGSKOPIE be produced as a deep-drawn part, so that in this case, a cast must be made and the box lid must be welded to the block usually.

  • DE 10 2005 012 761 A1 discloses a heat exchanger mentioned in the introduction with a housing made up of two side parts and two housing covers, wherein the side parts are soldered to the block and the housing covers are welded to the side parts. Furthermore, plastic collection boxes are mechanically connected with the interposition of a gasket with tube sheets. The mechanical connection is done by bending tabs of the tubesheets to the edge of the header. This type of heat exchanger is still in need of improvement.
  • the invention begins, the object of which is to provide a heat exchanger in which the box lid of a box is particularly advantageously tied to the ground, in which in particular the box lid made of a non-metal material is connected to the metal base, preferably with the improvement of a sealing effect ,
  • the box lid is fixed, preferably connected, at the bottom via one or more connections as a screw connection and / or slot flanging.

  • a heat exchanger of the type mentioned in the introduction can be formed in particular as a charge air heat exchanger in which the first fluid is a charge air, or as an exhaust gas heat exchanger in which the first fluid is an exhaust gas.
  • the first fluid may also be an exhaust gas charge air mixture or the like fluid for charging a combustion engine.
  • the second fluid, in particular a coolant, is for example a water-based or other suitable coolant.
