Definitions

  • the invention relates to a holistic system for protecting even civilian flying platforms against various threats.
  • Infrared, radar and dual mode guided missiles may become a. used for example to combat sea targets, such as ships, or other objects on land and air. After launch, these missiles or rockets initially fly inertially (eg DE 196 01 165 A1) or GPS steered into the target area.
  • decoys are used to prevent the protection of objects missiles by disturbance in / at their function.
  • Some decoys emit electromagnetic noise signals (DE 100 16 781 C2) upon detection of a threat, others build up "clouds" of floating dipoles (chaff clouds), which are tuned to the radar frequency of the missile.
  • a missile is deployed to the target in a missile strike after the missile is "detonated.” For example, to achieve missile deflection, these missiles have a higher radar beam cross section than the object itself.
  • the decoy ammunition described here has integrated, electronically freely programmable delay elements, in which the transmitted from a launcher or Feuerleitrechner ten delay times are stored.
  • the decoys have their own energy storage.
  • the applicant's own DE 196 17 701 A1 deals with a method for providing a decoy.
  • the active materials are positioned by a projectile in rotation.
  • the idea is taken to jointly eject the active materials including an activation and distribution device during the flight phase of the projectile by means of a Ausbringteils from the projectile casing and subsequently distribute and activate.
  • the invention addresses the problem of providing a protection system that ensures sufficient protection against infrared or radar-directed threats in civilian areas.
  • the invention is based on the idea to create a munitionstransports concept.
  • Traditional Fares or DIRCM are dispensed with.

Also on the ejection unit can be dispensed with, if the active body of the transport unit (for example, pneumatic mail) bring along enough speeds and get dynamically through the activation unit to the outside.
  • This system is primarily integrated in a flying carrier and a modular system, with the task of the defined placement of Täuschneck, here by means of active body.

  • This system 10 is primarily in a flying Carrier 11 ( Figure 3) integrated and a modular system
  • the storage container 1 is preferably a reusable, fire-resistant, encapsulated container or container for providing the active body 7. It is a kind of storage container with a mechanical connection option for the transport unit 2.

  • the transport unit 2 is preferably a conveyor belt system which is responsible for the rapid and sequential transport of the active bodies 7 for activation. Alternatives are also possible, such as a pneumatic tube system.
  • the activation unit 3 is constructed such that a contactless controlled activation or ignition of the different active bodies 7 is ensured. This non-contact controlled activation can preferably be realized by means of hot air or laser light, etc. Alternatively, ignition with contact is possible.
  • the control and control unit 5 has an example memory-programmed control to ensure the safety of the system 1 and has the task of controlling and monitoring the individual components. It has an interface to the carrier 11, for example BUS or interface unit.

  • the active bodies 7 are ammunition-free packages which are responsible for the actual effect of the system 10 outside the carrier. These are preferably red phosphorus, chaff and the like.
  • the active body 7 are transported by means of the transport unit 2 to the activation unit 3. There, the active body 7 are activated according to their task.
  • the ignition for infrared active body can be done for example by means of hot air or laser. Thereafter, these activated active bodies 7 are ejected respectively by the ejection unit 4. This should preferably take place pneumatically or mechanically.
  • the computer-controlled controllability is realized by the control unit 5 and allows the setting of the effect (preferably infrared, radar), the duration and intensity, for example by corresponding active body 7, and by applying variable portions and
  • the number of active bodies 7 can also be influenced on the active development, namely by defined activation, and separation, by means of defined ejection.
  • the variable application method also allows different geometries of the active body 7.
