Definitions

  • the invention relates to a laying unit of a number of stones made of artificial stone material.
  • Installation units of a plurality of stones made of artificial stone material are known.
  • laying units are suitable for laying them on a mechanically prepared bed of sand and / or grit, typically by means of a laying clamp (clamping gripper) acting on two opposite sides.
  • Recesses have also already been provided on two opposite sides of the laying unit, so that a stone could be used as a bolt in a pair of recesses formed when a second laying unit was created. In this way, the joint between the two adjacent laying units is interrupted by the locking block. It results in a total of a Verlege said on the occupied area, which can accommodate greater forces and in which it is not so easy to shift the stones under the action of external forces.
  • GB-A-1 445 617 which is considered to be the closest prior art, discloses unitary laying units of artificial stone material in the rectangular format, in which by dummy joints subunits in the format of stones are marked out. Recesses are provided on the longitudinal sides and / or on the transverse sides of the respective laying unit. For laying units placed next to each other, pairs of recesses are formed, wherein one or two locking blocks are fitted into the recess pairs. Pre-drawn stones in the respective laying unit, the angle-shaped and conceivable as an integral summary of three substantially square stones are not disclosed. Lockstones, which are angular and comprehensible as an integral summary of three substantially square section stones, are not disclosed.
  • Angular stones which are conceivable as an integral summary of three substantially square part stones, stand out for themselves US-A-6 055 784 known. These angular stones can be put together as a rectangular laying package, which has no recesses on the edge. Riegelsteine are missing.
  • the laying unit according to the invention is designed so that it is provided for inserting at least one angular stone as a locking brick between two adjacent laying units. It is novel to provide angular stones as locking stones between two adjacent laying units. Working with angular locking blocks is only possible if the arrangement of the stones in the laying units and the related creation of recesses of the appropriate size and placement is made so sophisticated that Winkelstein-suitable Aus biologyungspaare are formed. Angular stones as locking stones have as a special advantage that you are particularly good with the stones of the two adjacent Anchor laying units and therefore realize a particularly effective Riegelsteinfunktion.
  • two recesses face each other in such a way that the second laying unit can be applied without offset in the longitudinal direction of this side for insertion of the locking block or the locking stone group.
  • those sides of the two adjacent laying units which extend at right angles to the previously considered pair of sides with inserted brick or bar group, are aligned with each other. There, therefore, the laying units can be laid along a straight edge of the area to be occupied, without that "beginner stones" or "keystones" would have to be used by hand for filling.
  • the mentioned training which includes applicability without offset leads to the fact that there are long continuous joints in the installation composite, perpendicular to the previously considered side pair with Riegelsteininhegung.
  • continuous joints are tolerable, in particular if they extend from installation units essentially at right angles to the direction of travel of the covering, that is to say in particular transversely to the longitudinal direction of a paved road or an occupied path. Bleeding such continuous joints in the direction of travel is less favorable.
  • the laying unit according to the invention It is a characteristic of the laying unit according to the invention that - if one has the case of a pair of recesses with a single angular stone as a bolt in the eye - one recess of the pair of recesses larger and the other recess of the pair of recesses smaller. Considering the larger recess, the angular locking block can typically be inserted in two different orientations. As a result, the adjacent laying unit can be selectively applied in two different positions (differing by a positioning displacement distance extending in the longitudinal direction of the two laying unit sides considered with the recesses considered). Illustrative examples of this will be described in more detail below.
  • the stones of the laying unit are angled.
  • Angular stones are, as already mentioned, characterized by particularly high anchoring effect with adjacent stones.
  • the range of the invention also include laying units containing less than 50% of the laying unit area other stones, in particular - roughly speaking - twice as long as wide stones or square stones.
  • Angular stones are particularly preferred at the corners of the laying unit.
  • the angular stones of the laying unit and the angular locking blocks have the same shape.
  • the laying unit has a size of 60 cm by 90 cm to 120 cm by 180 cm. This is a size range that is manageable with the board size of today's concrete block production machines. The larger the laying unit, the more rational the manufacture and laying will be, provided that the more complex equipment required for this is available.
  • every recess of the laying unit means that no stone is produced at this point in the production of the laying unit.
  • the development of the invention considered here is an optimal compromise between sufficiently pronounced locking effect between adjacent laying units and low losses in the economy of production.
  • the stones of the laying unit and / or the locking blocks are composite stones.
  • composite stones called artificial stones, which have around the circumference or at least a substantial part of their circumference projections and recesses for toothing with complementary projections and recesses of adjacent stones.
  • Compound stones therefore provide significantly better composite effect than the same size stones without protrusions and recesses.
  • This advantage is noticeable both in the stones within the laying unit and in the stones along the edge of the laying unit (teeth with the curbs of the adjacent laying unit!) As well as the locking stones.
  • composite blocks as a bolt in many cases are somewhat difficult to fit into the recess pair in question. This complication is deliberately accepted in the considered embodiment of the invention in order to secure the mentioned advantage.
  • artificial stone material is primarily concrete into consideration. However, it is also possible to use materials with a different hardening mechanism in place of the cement bond or in addition to the cement bond, e.g. Brick material.
  • materials with a different hardening mechanism in place of the cement bond or in addition to the cement bond, e.g. Brick material.
  • the laying units according to the invention are intended in particular for the attachment of roads, paths, squares, driveways, pedestrian zones, commercially or industrially used areas such as container sites or areas in front of loading ramps or factories, and similar other fields of use. Areas of specialization are surfaces used by vehicles, including in particular cars, trucks and forklifts.
  • the invention is not only the laying unit described per se, but also a laying dressing of several laying units.
  • laying unit 2 consists of a total of sixteen stones 4 made of artificial stone material. All stones 4 have the same shape and size, but are alternately oriented within the laying unit 2 (a total of four orientations are possible). Each stone 4 is angular. Right below in Fig. 1 is illustrated on a sample block 6 by broken lines, that you can imagine each a stone 4 as an integral summary of three in plan view square part stones. Other types of angular stones are possible, as will be explained below.
  • Each stone 4 has a leg length 8 of - in the described embodiments - 20 to 35 cm.
  • the measured perpendicular to the plane of the drawing thickness of the stones 4 is - in the embodiments - 6 to 12 cm.
  • the laying unit 2 has two transverse sides 12 and two longitudinal sides 14.
  • a first recess 16 is slightly below the lateral center exists.
  • a second recess 18 is present in the in Fig. 1
  • Upper longitudinal side 14 is slightly left of the center, a third recess 20 is present.
  • a fourth recess 22 is centrally provided in the lower longitudinal side 14.
  • the first recess 16 and the fourth recess 22 each have the size of one third of a stone 4, while the second recess 18 and the third recess 20 each have the size of two-thirds of a stone 4.
  • Fig. 1 drawn laying unit 2 has been prepared in the drawn configuration on the board of a concrete block production machine (in the actual production, due to the construction of the form, the joints between the stones 4 were still slightly larger than in the laying unit 2 in the state during the Laying and after laying). Without the recesses 16, 18, 20, 22 eighteen stones 4 would have been produced simultaneously at the appropriate size of the production form. Of this production amount has lost because of the recesses 16, 18, 20, 22 two stones 4.
  • Fig. 2 shows a modified laying unit to illustrate that at the periphery of the stones 4 projections 32 and recesses 34 may be present, so that juxtaposed stones 4 are interlocked by complementary, interlocking projections 32 and recesses 34.
  • the joints between adjacent stones 4 are drawn as a single line instead of a double line. Otherwise applies to the embodiment according to Fig. 2 all that, as well as for the embodiment according to Fig. 1 has been described.
  • Adjacent laying units 4 can optionally be applied without offset or with offset in the transverse direction.
  • Fig. 7 drawn laying units 2 correspond respectively to in Fig. 5 drawn laying unit 2, wherein Fig. 7 shows the offset between two adjacent laying units 2 in the longitudinal direction in front of his eyes.
  • a bolt 40 is explicitly drawn for the first time.
  • the bar 40 has the size and shape as the angular stones 4 in the laying units 2.
  • the latching block 40 must correspond to the in Fig. 5 drawn locus 26 are inserted, that is rotated by 90 ° clockwise compared to the graphical representation of Fig. 7 ,
  • Drawn laying unit 2 is a modification of the in Fig. 5 drawn laying unit and is intended to illustrate that it is also possible to provide a plurality of recesses per longitudinal side 14 and / or a plurality of recesses per transverse side 12 in the laying unit 2 according to the invention. If one applies longitudinal side to the longitudinal side of another laying unit without offset in the longitudinal direction, the locking blocks must be inserted in the orientations, which are illustrated by the angle lines 24.
  • Fig. 11 shows a contrast, alternative possibility of juxtaposition of two laying units 2 according to embodiment of Fig. 10 .
  • the lower laying unit 2 is now applied with an offset of 0.5 leg length 8 to the right to the upper laying unit 2.
  • the locking blocks 40 are each inserted in a different orientation in the respective pair of recesses, in each case rotated by 90 ° clockwise.
  • the angular stones 4 according to the invention shown in the drawings have two legs of equal length; their emergence is conceivable as an integral summary of three substantially square section stones.
