- the supply line for the rinse aid dispenser is connected between the boiler and the tank of the dishwasher (single-tank dishwasher).
- the grid position of the dosing device is set so that approx. 0.57 g of rinse aid is added per liter of softened water.
- the one-tank dishwasher is set to consume about 5 liters of softened water per rinse cycle.
- the temperature of the water in the rinse aid is set to 75 ° C.
- Treated dinner plates are after cooling and drying Room temperature according to a standardized test method with a Starch soiled. An approximately 6% aqueous solution is used for this Composition containing cornstarch after boiling to 75 ° C cooled and approx. 4 mL applied per plate with a brush. The treated like this Plates are left to stand for at least 3 hours and then left for 16 hours dry approx. 80 ° C. After cooling, the plates are as in the text below described further processed.
- the cleaning step in the one-tank dishwasher is repeated.
- the tank of the one-tank dishwasher again filled with softened water.
- Per liter softened Water is added to 1 g of Perclin Supra dishwashing detergent.
- the one-tank dishwasher is brought to an operating temperature of 60 ° C.
- the soiled plates are again in an upright position by means of a Dish rack brought into the dishwasher and the one-tank dishwasher will be closed.
- the cleaning step each lasting 60 seconds, is repeated five times repeated so that a total of five minutes is cleaned.
- the Dishwasher opened and the crockery basket with the dishwasher's dinner plates taken.
- the dinner plates dry and cool at room temperature.
- dinner plates are briefly put into one prepared by default by dissolving iodine and potassium iodide in water Iodine solution immersed.
- the remaining starch soiling made visible is assessed by means of comparators.
- the dinner plates, which are treated according to experiment 1 with a commercial rinse aid 1 achieve an average value of 3.5.
- the evaluation of the cleaning result is three points better than in the case of dinner plates which are treated with conventional formulations.
- Treatment with a formulation that contains sodium lauryl sulfate thus brings visible relief to the cleaning process of surfaces, as shown in the example of the dinner plate.
