Definitions
- the invention relates to a motor vehicle door hinge according to the preamble of Claim 1.
- DE-A-44 06 824 describes a motor vehicle door hinge with an integrated one Brake, in which the hinge pin as an inner part and a Hinge eye drilling in the trade of one of the two hinge halves as Outer part of the brake is used.
- the hinge pin is non-rotatable in the other of the two hinge halves set, so that inner part and outer part the brake over the hinge halves on corresponding door arrangement parts can be determined.
- the inner part is radially rising with at least one Wedge surface equipped, this is also a radial on the inner part assigned increasing wedge surface, the two wedge surfaces being the same Must have slope in order to form wedge surface pairings, which over their entire coverage area towards each other essentially flat issue.
- the braking effect is due to the mutual friction and associated with the elastic deformation in the area of the wedge surfaces causes.
- the wedge surfaces must on the one hand have a very flat slope Wedge surface and on the other hand have a steeply sloping flank surface, which results in a considerable manufacturing effort for both the hinge pin also results for the hinge eye bore, in particular because the interacting wedge surfaces manufactured with great precision must be in order to achieve a sufficient inhibitory effect and one premature wear as well as adverse consequences of environmental influences excluded. This is particularly the case with motor vehicle doors important because they are heavy and both in Opening and closing forces are high, especially Accelerations are exposed.
- DE-U-76 16 362 shows a furniture hinge in which braking of the both hinge halves struck furniture parts is achieved in that the hinge pin in the length range in which it is the hinge eye passes through the associated other hinge part, an oval Has cross-sectional shape, which is also oval in shape Hinge eye bore is held by clamping that a slot in the Hinge eye is expanded by the rotary movement of the hinge pin and this creates a preload with which the hinge pin is embraced. The entire elastic change in shape of the system takes place through the hinge eye.
- the invention advantageously creates a motor vehicle door hinge with integrated braking and holding function, which over predetermined approved opening angle towards a resistance-free opening and closing Guaranteed closing movement of the door and in the area of at least one selected Opening angle of the further opening movement of the motor vehicle door opposes a sufficiently large, progressively increasing resistance, but works maintenance-free and permanently noise-free during operation and with high fatigue strength without special effort and small size can be produced.

- the radially protruding rounding deviation of the hinge pin and therefore also the hinge eye hole in the range of a few hundredths of the general hinge pin diameter lies.
- the continuous course of the peripheral surface of the hinge pin also in the area of its not exactly cylindrical length section on the one hand enables the hinge pin and Hinge eye hole and on the other hand also ensures a gentle incipient and continuously increasing increase in internal resistance of the hinge against a predetermined opening angle opening movement of the door.

- the hinge pin In the area of the longitudinal section of the hinge pin that has at least one radially protruding rounding deviation, there is a bearing play between the hinge pin and the hinge eye bore, which corresponds to half the amount or less of the maximum radial projection of the rounding deviation of the hinge pin.
- the size of the bearing play is made larger as the hinge pin diameter increases.
- This preferred embodiment can be expanded in the interest of a noise-free smoothness of the hinge in such a way that the hinge pin over its length sections covered by the hinge eye with a cylindrical course of its peripheral walls by means of bearing bushes made of a maintenance-free bearing material in corresponding cylindrical length sections of the hinge eye bore of the hinge eye, which is mounted on the on the one hand the advantage of an absolutely backlash-free mounting of the hinge over its full swivel angle range and on the other hand the advantage of a complete isolation of the hinge pin section having at least one radially protruding curvature deviation against environmental influences.
