Definitions
- the invention relates to a closure cap made of plastic material with a guarantee ring, according to the generic term of Claim 1.
- Such caps are preferred as Screw caps designed and for closing container mouths used with external thread. With attached The cap usually grips under the guarantee ring ring-shaped projection at the container mouth, causing tearing of the guarantee ring leads when the container first is opened.
- Such guarantee closures are, for example used to securely close beverage bottles. The condition of the guarantee ring leaves the consumer recognize whether the container has already been opened.
- GB 2 199 571 A is a container closure with a Guarantee band known, which on the inside with a inner ring is provided.
- the inner ring can have a projection reach under the container mouth and thus serves as Retention element.
- By extending the guarantee ring you can the accessibility of the inner ring can be reduced, so that manipulation of the one serving as a retaining element inner ring is impossible.
- Such a construction avoids but not a simultaneous widening of the guarantee ring and inner retaining ring.
- the cap consists of a cap base and a adjoining, usually cylindrical cap wall. It is mainly designed as a screw cap, the Cap wall has a screw thread on the inside, which when closing the container with a corresponding one External thread of the container mouth engaged becomes.
- other locking systems such as Bayonet or snap locks can be used.
- the Cap wall is on its lower, facing away from the cap bottom Edge connected with a tear-off guarantee ring. This engages under a mostly ring-shaped container Projection on the neck of the container.
- the tearable connection between the guarantee ring and the cap wall Rule of individual, distributed over the circumference Predetermined breaking bars or e.g.
- the guarantee ring can also through one or more wide bars firmly attached to the cap wall be connected and at the same time a predetermined breaking point on its circumference with a reduced guarantee ring cross-section.
- Such guarantee strips are in a variety of Known embodiments, they remain even after opening of the container through the wider connecting webs with the Cap wall connected and are therefore preferred for closing reusable containers (e.g. deposit bottles).
- Such guarantee rings already offer some Protection against unauthorized manipulation, after all, when trying to stretch the risk that the predetermined breaking point of the guarantee ring tears and the intervention is displayed in this way becomes. It is therefore, in particular, guarantee rings that only pass through Breakaway webs are connected to the cap wall and the therefore remain on the container neck when opening the container, whose security is demonstrated by the present invention can be increased.
- a additional circlip provided that at least one Part of the guarantee ring and coaxial to it is arranged.
- the locking ring is only on its upper, the end facing the cap wall with the guarantee ring connected.
- the retaining ring covers at least part of it of the guarantee ring, so that it no longer comes from the outside is directly accessible. Particularly good protective effect achieved if the free end of the guarantee ring within the Circlip is located.
- the free end is the bottom, not end of the guarantee ring connected to the cap wall. Lies this inside the circlip, it means that the circlip extends beyond the guarantee ring extends below or that the lower edges of the guarantee ring and the locking ring are at least at the same height.
- a locking ring is particularly preferably used, which at least 0.5 mm above the free end of the guarantee ring extends down to below. This is the free end of the Guaranteed rings, which is the main point of attack for stretch tests on the guarantee ring is particularly effective against external ones Impacts protected.
- a mechanical guarantee tape is preferably used on the inside with at least one retaining element has a blocking area which when the container is closed engages under a projection at the container mouth. Stretching tests on the guarantee ring, which theoretically allow it to move the retaining element radially outwards are made more difficult by the additional circlip. But even if the locking ring is stretched, this leads to a slight expansion of the guarantee ring, since the two rings yes are interconnected. The coupling of guarantee ring and The circlip must therefore be kept as small as possible to ensure effective protection. In particular, should that area of the guarantee ring which is the ring-shaped Under the projection on the container neck, from the locking ring be decoupled if possible.
- the circlip is therefore preferably in one above the restricted area connected to the upper part of the guarantee ring.
- the Coupling can be further reduced if the guarantee ring between said upper area and the restricted area of the Retaining element has a section in which the guarantee band is thinner than in the upper area.
- the outside diameter of the Guaranteed rings in its upper range already mentioned is larger than the inner diameter of the locking ring.
- the circlip is placed below this area. This configuration has advantages when the circlip connected to the guarantee ring by predetermined breaking bars becomes. This preferred embodiment will be described below explained in more detail.
- the outside diameter in the upper area of the guarantee ring equal to the outer diameter of the locking ring. This allows the use of simple spraying tools the result is a visually appealing design and deformation the circlip are easier to see because the outer surface of the upper guarantee band area when viewed serves as a reference surface.
- connection between the guarantee ring and the surrounding circlip influences the strength the mechanical coupling between these two elements.
- a connection with a small cross-sectional area causes also less mechanical coupling.
- the locking ring is therefore preferred due to predetermined breaking bars with the guarantee ring connected. This has the added advantage that Stretch tests on the circlip to break these predetermined breaking bars can lead to manipulation from the outside becomes visible.
- the radial load on the circlip is far greater than that Axial load.
- a radial load on the circlip to destroy it the same and thus to a visible from the outside
- the circlip shows evidence of the manipulation according to a further preferred embodiment on his At least one predetermined breaking point with a reduced locking ring cross-section on.
- the tears Circlip at this point.
- You can also have several Predetermined breaking points distributed over the circumference of the retaining ring to be ordered. At the predetermined breaking point, it can e.g. B. a vertical notch, preferably on the inside act of the circlip. This has the advantage that the Outer surface of the circlip in its original condition also in The area of the predetermined breaking points is smooth, so that an injury of these predetermined breaking points is immediately visible.
- the closure cap shown in Figure 1 consists of a Cap base 1 and a subsequent cylindrical Cap wall 2. This is at its lower edge through predetermined breaking bars 4 connected with a guarantee ring 3.
- Figure 1 is only partially shown in section by a Break line delimited part bottom right shows the view the screw cap from the outside.
- the lower part of the guarantee ring 3 is of an additional, Surround coaxially to this arranged locking ring 7.
- the free end 9 of the guarantee ring lies within the Circlip 7. It is therefore difficult to reach from the outside without removing the circlip 7.
- the locking ring has several vertical notches 10, in the area of which its cross section is reduced is. These are predetermined breaking points, which at Break the radial load on the circlip. Through the Arrangement of the notches 10 on the inside of the locking ring 7, its outer surface remains smooth. The break up a predetermined breaking point or a notch 10 is therefore from immediately recognizable from the outside.
- the guarantee ring 3 has an upper area 11 in which to be Outside diameter larger than the inside diameter of the circlip 7 is. This enables the connection of the circlip 7 and ring 3 through approximately parallel to the cap axis standing predetermined breaking webs 8, which are clearly visible from the outside are. These predetermined breaking webs 8 are distributed over the circumference arranged and connect the upper edge of the locking ring with said upper area 11 of the guarantee ring.
- the guarantee ring 3 has a circumferential on its inner surface Retaining element 5 with a locking surface 6, which according to the Mounting the closure has an annular projection on the Under the container mouth. Between the restricted area 6 and the guarantee ring has a section 12 in the upper region 11 with reduced wall thickness. This contributes to the mechanical coupling between the locking ring 7 and the part 5 of the guarantee ring under the container mouth to reduce.
- Figure 2 shows the view of that shown in Figure 1 Screw cap from below.
- the circlip 7 surrounds this lower end 5 of the guarantee ring.
- Its vertical notches 10 are wedge-shaped, with the front tip this wedge only through a thin plastic skin from the The outer surface of the circlip is separated.
- the in Figure 1 The predetermined breaking bars 4 and 8 are shown in this illustration not visible. In contrast, the one starting from the cap bottom 1 Inner seal 14 shown and within the guarantee ring individual sections 13 of the screw thread can be seen.
- FIG 3 is the side view of an alternative embodiment the screw cap according to the invention shown.
- the locking ring consists of individual ring sector-shaped Elements that are separated by predetermined breaking webs 18 are connected. These predetermined breaking webs 18 take over the function the vertical notch shown in Figure 1 10. Sie break open under radial load on the retaining ring, see above that attempts at manipulation become visible from the outside.
- a section of this screw cap is in section in Figure 4 shown.
- the connection between the circlip and the inner guarantee ring 3a which is made of a further number of arranged distributed over the circumference Breakaway webs 21 exist.
- Each of these predetermined breaking bars 21 connects one of the upper predetermined breaking webs 18a of the securing ring with the guarantee ring 3a.
- the guarantee ring 3a itself is analogous to that stated in FIG. 1 through predetermined breaking webs 4 with the cap wall 2 of the closure connected.
- there is a fixed connecting web 15 provided that the guarantee ring 3a at a point of the Connects circumference permanently with the cap wall 2.
- the guarantee ring has a vertical predetermined breaking point 16 with a reduced guarantee ring cross-section on. In this example, this only exists from two thin webs 19, which when opened for the first time of the container tear, so that the guarantee ring from the Container mouth is torn off and even after opening the Container through the connecting element 15 with the cap wall 2 remains connected.
- the retaining elements 20 reach under when the closure is in place a bulge at the container mouth, they correspond in their function the retaining element shown in Figure 1 5.
