Definitions
- the invention relates to an electrical pushbutton switch, in particular for motor vehicles, with a pushbutton guided spring-loaded in the switch housing and with guide elements acting between the pushbutton and the housing.
- Such an electrical push button switch is known from DE-PS 36 33 701 C2.
- This known pushbutton switch has guide elements which interact linearly, the guide elements engaging with one another.
- the interlocking of the guides requires precise matching of the fitting dimensions so that, on the one hand, the guides slide neatly into one another and, on the other hand, the friction between the guide elements is as low as possible. If the clearance between the guides is too large, pressing the pushbutton of such a pushbutton switch can result in the button being inclined and jammed in the guides. If there is too little play between the guide elements, inclination is not possible, but due to the close fit, the frictional forces increase so much that it is not possible to actuate the pushbutton.
- the object of the invention is to ensure, in the case of an electrical push button switch of the type mentioned at the outset, that when the push button is actuated on one side, the push button can be moved smoothly without inclination and without jamming, and at the same time there is a large play between the push button and the housing.
- the guide elements consist of a lever which connects the housing and the pushbutton in an articulated manner.
- This measure advantageously ensures that the guide elements of the pushbutton and the housing do not slide along each other and that there is therefore sufficient play between the housing and the pushbutton, so that the pushbutton cannot get jammed in the housing.
- At least one second lever is aligned between the housing and the push button. This allows very large pushbuttons to be operated without jamming.
- the lever is arranged on the one hand around a fixed bearing in the housing and, on the other hand, on a fixed bearing on the pushbutton which swivels around the fixed bearing.
- the leading The bearing elements thus have at most one line contact in their bearing points, as a result of which the frictional forces are minimized.
- levers are arranged as guide elements between the housing and the push button, two levers each being aligned coaxially and connected via supports.
- the lever held in the fixed bearing in the housing is placed by a first clip connection and locked in the bearing of the push button by a second clip connection.
- This design means that when the levers are arranged under the corners of a large pushbutton, the pushbutton is pressed down without friction, the two coaxial levers being positively driven via the coaxial connection of two levers.
- the assembly of the levers in fixed bearings in the housing as well as in the push button by clipping allows an easy and inexpensive method of manufacture.
- an extension is advantageously integrally formed on each lever, at the end of which there is a driving bearing which pivots about the stationary bearing in the housing.
- the entraining bearing is arranged perpendicular to the connecting line between the bearing in the housing and the bearing in the pushbutton, advantageously perpendicular to the axis of the bearing in the housing.
- At least two levers with the same pivoting orientation of the attachment are preferably connected in the direction of the pivoting of the driving bearing in their driving bearings by a rod by means of a clip connection or in one piece by means of a film hinge.
- the four levers between the housing and push button on be in their entrainment bearings ⁇ consolidated rods with a web between the rods ver ⁇ prevented.
- This definition of the outer switch position of the push button ensures that the shoulder of the lever bears evenly against the stop, and easy release of the shoulder from the stop is ensured when the push button is operated.
- a lever, or all the coaxially aligned levers are each mounted in a fixed bearing in the housing and the bearings for all further levers are ge through an elongated hole in the housing forms, a spring element acting on the extension of the lever held in the elongated hole, the direction of action of which flows in against the pushbutton.
- a circuit board with a switching element located thereon is fixed in the housing, the switching button of the switching element being the automatic one
- the pushbutton is reset.
- a lighting element on the printed circuit board the light bulb of which is immersed in the opening of a fluorescent screen.
- a guide surface is provided in a further embodiment in the housing, on which the rod is supported under the action of a spring element, the driving bearings in the rod are designed as elongated holes and corresponding pins are formed on the shoulder of the lever, which engage in the elongated holes.
- the spring element is supported with one end at the bottom of a blind hole in the rod and with its other end on a contact bridge. The drive shoulders of the contact bridge are guided in openings in the rod and the contact bridge interacts with connection contacts in the bottom of the housing.
- the rod thus fulfills two functions, namely the compulsory entrainment of the lever and thus the pushbutton and also the function of a switching element, in which it guides the contact bridge and there is always sufficient contact force via the compression spring below the contact bridge.
- the bottom of the housing can be designed differently, whereby other switching states can also be achieved after being exchanged.
- the lighting element is also fastened in the bottom of the housing and dips into the opening of the light screen.
- the push button as a two color spray 1, the outer jacket of which is luminescent and the inner jacket of which is opaque, the tabs for the clip connection to the luminescent screen being formed on the inner jacket and also the legs for receiving the pivoting bearing of the push button.
- the effect is that the material of the inner jacket withstands the high loads on the clip connections and the material of the outer jacket is present evenly over the entire surface of the push button. A desired symbol can also be injected into the push button.
