Definitions
- the invention relates to a spin-stabilized projectile with a payload according to the preamble of claim 1 .
- a projectile belongs to the prior art.
- DE-A1-26 38 920 describes a projectile which comprises a casing and a central tube which delimit a space which is annular in cross section for a payload.
- the shell is pushed forward under the action of explosives, and the payload is then carried away radially under the pressure of a gaseous medium which is fed through the central tube.
- This projectile differs fundamentally from the projectiles of the type mentioned at the outset in the type of separation of the projectile shell and subprojectiles, and moreover does not guarantee that the payload is securely held in the casing before being ejected and that the casing can be left intact when ejected.
- DE-A1-33 26 877 describes a projectile comprising a projectile shell and a projectile tip, with a payload in the form of subprojectiles. After the tip of the projectile has been removed, the subprojectiles are ejected forward from the sleeve hanging from a parachute above the earth's target.
- This projectile also differs fundamentally from the projectiles of the type mentioned at the beginning, and here too no measures have been taken to fix the payload in the casing and to protect the payload when it is ejected.
- the object of the invention is to provide the most trouble-free and to ensure even ejection of the payload. According to the invention, this is demonstrated by the features in the indicator of claim 1 solved.
- Attaching also has an advantageous effect Predetermined breaking points in the longitudinal direction in the effective space and at Using a payload from subprojectiles that are special coaxial arrangement of the subprojectiles and securing them against Twist during acceleration of the storey Recesses on the projectile body in the area of the effective space.
- a spin-stabilized projectile contains one Projectile body 1, one attached to the front of the projectile body 1 ballistic hood 2 and one on the rear part of the Projectile body 1 attached detonator 3, which in this Example is designed as a programmable timer 3. But it is conceivable to use a different igniter for example a detonator, the ignition of which Transmission means is triggered.
- the projectile body 1 also has an active space 4 for a fixed therein Payload 5, one behind the effective space 4 and partially through a web 7 separately arranged detonator chamber 6 Guide band 8 and grooves 9 for attachment to a not shown, known cartridge case.
- a Retaining screw 10 holds the payload 5 in the axial direction fixes and connects projectile body 1 and ballistic Hood 2.
- Timer 3 contains an igniter housing 11, a Data receiver coil 12, a power supply 13, e.g. With Shock generator, an electronic timer module 14, one Detonator 15, a detonator 16 and an ejection charge 17.
- an explosive charge is an ejection charge 17 17 provided, which in the radial direction with rich Contact in the detonator or timer 3 and / or in Projectile body 1 and in the axial direction with a Damping distance 18 to the web 7 is arranged.
- the explosive charge 17 is arranged directly in the projectile body 1 be, in which case the ignition chain to the detonator or timer 3 or detonator 16 is to be ensured.
- the damping distance 18 can be in the form of an air gap between the web 7 and Explosive charge 17, as in Fig.1, or for example, not shown, in the form of between web 7 and explosive charge 17 arranged material with damping properties for the detonation shock wave exist.
- the payload 5 from a variety of cylindrical Subprojectiles 20 made of heavy metal, which are in the effective space 4 Form subprojectile columns 21 in a coaxial arrangement. Eight each Subprojectiles 20 arranged one above the other form a column 21 and nineteen such columns 21, see Fig.2, are in Effective space 4 through the retaining screw 10 in the axial direction firmly fixed.
- the projectile body 1 is in the Area of the effective space 4 as a hollow cylinder 22 with in Axial direction additional recesses 23 are formed.
- Figure 2 here are six eccentric in cross section, Circular sector-shaped recesses 23 are provided. Through this Recesses 23 become subprojectiles 20 and Subprojectile columns 21 held together and in addition to the retaining screw 10, secured against rotation and on the other hand in the longitudinal direction predetermined breaking points 24 on the thinnest wall thicknesses formed on the projectile body 1.
- the mode of action of the spin-stabilized projectile is The following: If the igniter 15 is ignited, the Detonator 16 and the explosive charge 17 ejecting the Payload 5 or subprojectile 20. Due to the arrangement of the explosive charge 17 act on the shock waves of the detonation radial direction immediately in time and in the axial Direction delayed. As a result, the projectile body 1 in Area of the guide belt 8 torn open laterally and the Effective space 4 along the predetermined breaking points 24 from behind open on the side, for example peeled like a banana, and its side parts, supported by the Centrifugal forces, flung away. Due to the Damping distance 18, the payload 5 is only weak pressurized, thereby releasing the subprojectiles 20 delayed and practically trouble-free. As Payload 5 shown subprojectile made of heavy metal then fly individually spin-stabilized in a point Scattering angle towards a target.
- the projectile with 152 subprojectiles 20 is the coaxial Arrangement of the nineteen sub-projectile columns 21 with their respective eight sub-projectiles 20 in the effective space 4 and that practically trouble-free ejection very well documented.
- the framed spiral of points 25 is open a subprojectile column 21 with the largest coaxial distance to the Projectile axis and the point 26 on an adjacent to the web 7 Subprojectile 20 attributed.
- Sub projectiles in other can also be used as payload 5 Training and arrangement or, to produce False targets or to blind a flight destination, CHAFF or FLARE payloads can be provided.
