Definitions

  • the invention relates to folding packaging, in particular made of cardboard or other environmentally friendly packaging material, such as known from GB-A-2 222 145.
  • the invention makes a folding packaging available with the features mentioned in the protection claim 1, for which advantageous further developments are specified in the subclaims 2 to 15.
  • the invention advantageously creates a folding packaging, which consists in particular of cardboard or another environmentally friendly, disposable packaging material, which has a subsection and two at least partially overlapping top sections, each top section being connected to the bottom section via a side section, and the two top sections each have an at least partially identical product fastening recess.
  • the design of the shape of the individual sections can be adapted to the respective packaging requirements, in particular the shape of the product to be packaged, the product itself being advantageously laterally visible due to the "wrapping" of the product in one wrapping direction and the folded packaging in the folded state via the product fastening recess holds so that no additional glue or clips are required for the finished folding packaging.
  • the lower one has an underside product contact surface and the upper one has an upper-side product contact surface, a loosely fastener-free system being provided in the area of the mutually facing surfaces of the upper sections.
  • the product fastening recesses in the upper sections can be designed depending on the packaging requirements and the type of product to be packaged and its packaging fastening sections.
  • Each product fastening recess is preferably formed outside the edge region in the upper sections in order to achieve a secure strength of the folded packaging as well as a secure packaging fastening.
  • the side sections of the folded packaging are articulated to an upper section and the lower section via preferably pre-punched folded edges, at least one upper section preferably having the same size as the lower section.
  • the upper sections have approximately the same size and the side sections are approximately the same size.
  • the upper sections and the lower section are approximately square and the side sections are rectangular.
  • At least the side surfaces have sections for attaching or attaching information, such as manufacturer information, article designation, etc.
  • a holding section is formed on the upper of the overlapping upper sections, which is preferably designed as an assembly plug-in card with a plug-in opening.
  • one of the side sections has a punched-out holding section which can preferably be pivoted out of the side section at the folding line between the side section and the associated upper section, an engagement opening being preferably formed in the side section for pivoting out the holding section.
  • the outlines of the folding packaging, the folding lines or edges as well as product fastening recesses and the insertion opening are preferably made by punching.
  • the thickness of the material layer of the folded packaging depends on the respective need for packaging strength.
  • the thickness of solid cardboard is approximately 0.2-0.5 mm.
  • a flat development of a first embodiment of a folding package 10 is shown, which is made from a solid, about 0.3 mm thick cardboard by punching.
  • the folding package 10 consists of an elongated, rectangular cardboard on which several sections are formed from left to right in FIG. 1 by interrupted punching or groove lines 11, 12, 13 and 14, namely an approximately square upper section 15 with a central one Product fastening recess 16, a rectangular side section 17, a square subsection 18, a rectangular side section 19, an upper section 20 with a product fastening recess 21, which corresponds in size and arrangement to the product fastening recess 16, and from a holding section 22 formed on the upper section 20, which as Mounting card with a plug opening 23 is formed.
  • the product mounting recesses 16 and 21 and the insertion opening 23 are punched out.
  • the side sections 17 and 19 are the same size. They each have a section 24 or 25 for attaching or for applying information.
  • the upper section 15 has a product contact surface 26.
  • the lower section 18 has a product contact surface 27, and the upper section 20 in FIG. 1 has a rear product contact surface, which is indicated by dashed lines at 28.
  • the holding section 22 has a section 29, indicated by dashed lines, for attaching or for applying information.
  • Fig. 2 shows the folded packaging 10 in its folded packaging state, whereby for simplification a product to be packaged, such as a socket or a switch, by which the folding packaging is kept dimensionally stable in the position shown without other fasteners such as glue or staples, is omitted.
  • a product to be packaged such as a socket or a switch
  • the upper section 15, with its inwardly facing product contact surface 26, is angled at right angles to the side section 17 via the folded edge 11, that the side section 24 is in turn angled at right angles to the lower section 18, the product contact surface, via the folded edge 12 27 points inwards that the side section 19 is angled upwards at a right angle over the folded edge 13, the information attachment or application section 25 pointing outwards, and that the upper section 20 is angled to the side by 90 ° around the folded edge 14 and the Upper section 15 completely overlaps so that the product mounting recesses 16 and 21 are aligned.
  • the holding section 22 is molded onto the likewise square upper section 20 lying directly in the same plane without a folded edge.
  • Fig. 2 shows that the folding package 10 is open on opposite sides.
  • the size of the folding packaging 10 is, however, chosen with an oversize compared to the product to be packaged in such a way that the product to be packaged is set back inwards in relation to the open sides.
  • the component to be packaged not shown, is held securely by its section protruding through the fastening recesses 16 and 21, for example by a socket cover which is placed on the packaging 10 from the outside and projects through the recesses 16 and 21 to the electrical socket, whereby the fastening screw provided for fastening the socket cover also serves to fix the product and the packaging in the position shown.
  • the packaging effort can be considerably higher Compared to leading packaging minimized and thus the disposal problems are reduced.
  • FIGS. 3 and 4 of a folding packaging 10 corresponds to that of the folding packaging 10 according to FIGS. 1 and 2, with the exception that no holding section 22 with an insertion opening 23 is integrally formed on the upper section 20.
  • FIG. 5 shows a further exemplary embodiment of a folding package 10 ′′ in the planar illustration.
  • the folding packaging 10 ′′ corresponds to a modification of the folding packaging 10 ′ shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. Accordingly, as in FIG. 1, the reference numerals have been retained insofar as they relate to identical parts.
  • the folding packaging 10 '' according to FIG. 5 has a holding section 26 which is formed in the side section 19 by punching and has a plug-in opening 27.
  • the holding section 26 can be pivoted out of the side section 19 in the manner of a holding tab on the folding line 14, which separates the side section 19 from the associated upper section 20, in such a way that the packaged object together with the folding packaging 10 '' on the holding section 26 designed as an assembly card Sale or can be hung for storage.
  • an engagement opening 28 is punched out in the side section 19.
  • the folded package 10 ' looks as shown in FIG. 4.
  • the holding section 26 is pivoted out, it lies in a manner favorable for suspension in the plane of the upper section 20, similar to FIG. 2, but on the opposite side for the section 22.
  • this embodiment of the folding packaging 10 ′′ there is accordingly Possibility of using them like the folding packaging 10 ′ according to FIGS. 3 and 4 or with the holding section 26 pivoted out, only minimal packaging effort being necessary.
