Abstract

A reinforcing bridge prevents plaster at the lateral edges of window sills from crumbling due to the action of vibrations, wind and thermal expansion. The reinforcing bridge has a piece of elastic plastic profiled section which surrounds one of the lateral cover strips (30.2) of the window sill (30). After the reinforcing bridge (1) is mounted on the cover strip (30.2) of the window sill (30), reinforcing pins (40, 42) seated in the profiled section project into the space to be filled with the plaster (26, 28) of the embrasure and the facade. First, the window sill (30) together with its cover strips (30.2) is mounted, then a reinforcing bridge (1) is fastened to the cover strips (30.2) on each side and finally the plaster (26, 28) is applied to the embrasure and the facade.

Description

The invention relates to a reinforcing bridge for the side end strips of window sills.

Nach einiger Zeit bröckelt der Putz oberhalb und außerhalb der Abschlußleisten ab.Window sills usually have on their left and right edges upward side end strips, such as z. B. are known from document DE-A-19 46 206. The plaster of the window reveal normally extends up to these end strips. Under the influence of vibrations e.g. Construction work, road traffic or wind, thermal expansion and working the wood of the window frame result in cracks in the plaster. After a while, the plaster crumbles above and outside the end strips.

This crumbling is to be prevented by the present invention.

This object is achieved by the invention according to claim 1. (The terms defined in the claims are also used in the following explanations.)

After the installation of the window sill with its two end strips, a reinforcement bridge is attached to the outside of each end strip, which engages around this end strip in an elastic, clamp-like manner. Reinforcement needles are provided in the reinforcement bridge, a type of nail with cross ribs that stand upwards and outwards after installation. Then the plaster of the window reveal and the facade plaster is applied, including the reinforcement needles. The reinforcement bridge then sits firmly in the plaster, but remains movable in its longitudinal direction, i.e. across the plane of the window frame. Due to the fact that the armature bridge elastically engages around the end strip, there is also a certain movement transversely to the end strip upwards, downwards, as well as sideways. In the event of vibrations, thermal expansion and the like, the reinforcing bridge can therefore move relative to the end strip encompassed by it, so that the plaster is protected, does not crack and does not crumble.

The armature bridge can have the basic shape of a T in cross-section, the vertical leg and the leg of the T pointing towards the window sill can together form an elastic clamp for gripping around the end strip. In this way, relative movements between the armoring bridge and the end strip are made possible.

Preferably, the reinforcing needles can be attached in an upper leg of the T-shaped profile, which later protrudes into the plaster of the window reveal and facade, in a longitudinal row of the profile, while reinforcing needles can be provided on the vertical leg, which only of the latter protrude horizontally into the space to be occupied by the facade plaster.

For a better insertion of the reinforcement bridge after the installation of the window sill and end strips, the vertical leg can have a cutout in its rear area, an oblique edge of this cutout beginning at the lower edge of the leg and running upwards and backwards into an edge that can extend in the longitudinal direction of the profile. Exemplary embodiments with further features of the invention are described below with reference to the drawings.

Figur 1 ist eine Seitenansicht einer Armierbrücke, für das, von außen her gesehen, rechte Ende einer Fensterbank.FIG. 1 is a side view of a reinforcement bridge, for the right end of a window sill, seen from the outside.

Figur 2 ist ein Querschnitt in der Ebene II-II von Figur 1.Figure 2 is a cross section on the plane II-II of Figure 1.

Figur 3 ist eine Draufsicht auf die Armierbrücke nach Figur 1 und 2.FIG. 3 is a top view of the armoring bridge according to FIGS. 1 and 2.

Figur 4 zeigt von außen gesahen die rechte untere Ecke eines Fensterrahmens mit den benachbarten Teilen der Hauswand, betrachtet jedoch in Richtung der etwas abwärts geneigten Fensterbank, zum Teil in Draufsicht, zum Teil im Schnitt.FIG. 4 shows the lower right corner of a window frame with the neighboring parts of the house wall as seen from the outside, but viewed in the direction of the window sill which is inclined somewhat downward, partly in plan view and partly in section.

As the figures 1 to 3 show, the reinforcement bridge consists of a piece of elastic plastic with a T-like profile. The armature bridge is shown in its position of use, as it encompasses the right-hand side end strip 30.2 of a window sill 30, viewed from the outside. The cross-sectional shape of the end strip 30.2 is shown in FIG. 4 when viewed from the outside. In principle, it is U-shaped. The armature bridge 1 has a generally T-shaped cross section. The armature bridge has a horizontal leg 4, which here is always based on the installation position, which is flat and forms a U-shaped claw 6 on its left edge. The reinforcement bridge also has a vertical leg 8, the main section of which is offset somewhat to the right, for example by the thickness of the material of the reinforcement bridge. At its lower edge, the vertical leg has an end section 10 projecting to the left, which, in accordance with the cross-sectional shape of the end strip 30.2, is also claw-like and runs to the left into a pointed edge.

The first section 5 with its U-shaped claw and the end section 10 together with the vertical leg 8 form a bracket 12, which is used for the elastic gripping of the end strip 2.

The second section 7 has in its longitudinal direction a series of holes 14 which serve to receive reinforcing needles 40. Near the left edge of the vertical leg 8, two holes 16 are provided one above the other for the same purpose.

The armoring bridge 1 has a cutout 18 in its rear and lower halves (FIG. 1), which is bordered by an edge 20 parallel to its longitudinal direction and by an oblique edge 22.

Figure 4 shows, seen from the outside, the lower right corner of a window frame 24, to the right of it the plaster 26 of the window reveal, which merges into the facade plaster 28. At the lower end of the window frame 24 is the window sill 30, of which the rear one section 30.1 bent at the top and fastened to the window sill can be seen, and the outer, ie. H. in the drawing, the front downward section 30.3. The line of sight falls in the main plane of the window sill, so that nothing can be seen from its main part 30.5 except for a section shown on the right. From the window sill 30 you can see their right side cover strip 30.2, which is designed as an approximately U-like profile.

The armature bridge 1 can also be seen, as shown in detail in FIG. 2. It encompasses the end strip 30.2 like a clamp. Through the second (right) section 7 of the reinforcement bridge, a row of reinforcement needles 40 is inserted one behind the other, in such a way that the needles protrude upward. Through the front section of the reinforcement bridge, specifically through its holes 16 (see FIG. 1), reinforcement needles 42 projecting to the right are inserted, two pieces one above the other.

During assembly, the window frame 24 is first installed in a known manner, then the window sill 30 is fastened to it with its rear section 30.1 in a manner not shown, for. B. screwed. Then the reinforcing bridge provided with reinforcing needles 40 and 42 is on the one hand before the plaster is applied between the wall or its thermal insulation 44 and the end strip 30.2 of the window sill, on the other hand, pushed in the direction of this end strip and finally snapped elastically over it. Now the reinforcement needles 40 stand upwards in an initially free space, namely over the entire depth of the window sill, whereas the reinforcement needles 42 only at the front, ie on the outside into a room that is intended to take up plastering of the window reveal and facade. Finally, the plaster is applied, the armoring bridge being fixed by its needles. The second, ie outer section 7 of the reinforcement bridge is also plastered in.
