Definitions

  • the invention relates to a shackle lock, in particular a long shackle lock, with a lock body and a lock shackle, this lock shackle with its leg end sections can be inserted into one leg receptacle until a closed position is reached and can be completely separated from the lock body by removing the leg end sections from the leg receptacles, wherein further in the lock body at least one locking bolt is movably guided and is biased by biasing means in the direction of an engagement position in order to change into the engagement position within the leg receptacles after the leg end sections have entered, thereby latching into a bolt engagement surface of at least one leg end section and thus withdrawing this leg end section to lock from the associated leg receptacle, with a key-operated bolt retraction mechanism being kept underneath within the lock body ht and is operatively connected to the locking bolt, which can be converted by means of the key from a key insertion and key removal, the basic position corresponding to the engagement position of the locking bolt against the
  • the invention has for its object to improve a generic lock type that the release of the striker is facilitated from the lock body.
  • a bolt control member is attached in the leg receptacle, which rests under spring pressure against the leg end section and when the locking bar is transferred from the engaged position into the disengaged position in the sense of a displacement of the leg end section from the closed position in the direction of separation from the lock body acts on the leg end section and thereby moves from a bolt release position into a bolt influencing position in which it prevents the locking bolt from returning to its bolt engagement position.
  • the solution according to the invention also proves to be advantageous from the following point of view: in the solution known from DE-OS 32 28 613, the joining of the lock body and striker including the locking process can already be done easy cause by inserting the striker with its two leg ends in the leg receptacles.
  • the locking bolts held in the engagement position by the biasing means are then pushed back by the cam action between the locking bolt and the leg end sections and, after the leg end sections in the leg receptacles have entered the closed position, can snap back into the engagement surfaces of the end sections.
  • the locking bolt with the bolt retraction mechanism has an inevitable gear connection such that the bolt retraction mechanism can only return to the basic state when the locking bolt returns to the bolt engagement position.
  • This additional measure ensures that the key is only removed when the locking bracket and lock body are put together in the closed position and the locking bolt has entered the engaged position. It is therefore impossible for the key to be removed without the lock body and locking bracket being properly plugged together and locked together.
  • the solution according to the invention basically creates the possibility of any type of engagement between the locking bolt and the leg end section of the striker.
  • the locking bolt crosses the axis of the associated leg end section at a distance from it and into a longitudinal extension of the locking bolt engages parallel, as a tangential groove of the leg end portion engaging bolt engagement surface.
  • This configuration of the engagement prevents twisting of the leg end section, for example by exerting a twisting moment on the striker.
  • there is a form of engagement between the locking bolt and the leg end section which makes it impossible to have a reaction on the bolt retraction mechanism when trying to pull out or turn the respective locking lever leg.
  • the inevitable gear connection between the locking bolt and the bolt retraction mechanism can be realized with the advantage of a particularly simple transmission structure in such a way that the bolt retraction mechanism is formed by a locking cylinder with a locking cylinder core that can be rotated in a locking cylinder housing, which in the basic state with a key pulled by pin tumblers or the like on turning is prevented and can be rotated when the key is inserted by switching off the pin tumblers, and that a toothed pinion or the like is attached to the locking cylinder core, which is connected to the locking bolt via a toothed rack or the like.
  • Any toothed pinion and rack shapes are possible. Racks, the teeth of which are formed by successive perforations in a sheet metal strip, and corresponding pinion shapes have proven to be particularly simple and inexpensive.
  • the spring action of the bolt control member can be accomplished in a simple manner in that the bolt control member is biased towards the bolt influencing position by a helical compression spring supported on a base of the leg receptacle.
  • the bolt control member be formed by a control sleeve in which the leg end section is immersed when it is inserted into the leg receptacle. Furthermore, the overall height can be kept low in that the helical compression spring encloses the bolt control member over part of its length.
  • the control element can be influenced by the bolt in a simple manner in that the control element closes the opening of a bolt guide channel leading the locking bolt into the leg receptacle in the bolt influence position.
  • a stop shoulder can be provided in the leg receptacle. This means that the control member must be inserted from the side remote from the insertion opening of the leg receptacle. Such a possibility can be easily realized, as discussed below in connection with the structure of the lock body.
  • a particularly space-saving accommodation of two locking bolts, each of which cooperates with a leg end portion, can also be achieved with a large stroke of the locking bolt with regard to highly secure engagement between locking bolts and leg end portions in that, as a bolt retraction mechanism, a locking cylinder in the lock body between the two leg receptacles is approximately parallel to the leg end portions
  • Axis is arranged that two locking bolts arranged in each of the two leg end sections are guided in a guide plane approximately perpendicular to the leg end sections, essentially parallel to the bow plane in guides offset perpendicular to the bow plane, that the engagement surfaces of the leg end sections are arranged on opposite sides of the bow plane and that the toothed racks with the Pinions are engaged at diametrically opposite positions of the pinion.
  • the restoring means can also be accommodated in a space-saving and structurally simple manner in that the toothed racks are attached to the locking bolts in an axially offset manner and in that the restoring means are formed by at least one helical compression spring, which is supported on the one hand on the ends of the locking bolts facing the locking cylinder and other ends on the lock housing-fixed abutments are.
  • one system of resetting means can be used, possibly even with a single helical compression spring at the point just mentioned, that it is separate reset means are not required for the locking cylinder and locking bolts.
  • the lock body consist of two partial bodies that collide in a lock body center plane that is perpendicular to the shackle plane and parallel to the leg end sections, each of which has a leg receptacle, a lock bolt guide and half a receptacle for the bolt retraction mechanism, for example, have a lock cylinder.
  • the partial bodies for the insertion of the recesses in the locking bolt guides and the partial receptacles for the bolt retraction mechanism are easily accessible.
  • the two partial bodies can be connected to one another in a simple manner.
  • a single partial body shape is sufficient if the partial bodies have the same shape and are assembled in positions offset from one another by 180 ° with respect to the lock cylinder axis. If you then provide the locking bolt guides in the part bodies outside the shackle plane, the 180 ° offset of the part body inevitably results in the offset perpendicular to the shackle plane, which is required with regard to diametrically offset engagement of the racks in the pinion.
  • a simple way to secure the partial bodies in the mutual connection position is for the partial bodies to be received by a partial body enclosing housing.
  • the partial body encasing housing is formed by a U-shaped basic housing, the web wall of which is arranged perpendicular to the leg end sections on the one side surface of the partial body, into which the leg receptacles open, and the leg walls of which on the bow plane parallel side faces of the partial body rest, and when this basic housing is closed by a base plate.
  • the floor can with the Leg walls must be welded.
  • a closure of the ends of the U-shaped basic housing can be dispensed with, because in the locked state the leg end sections engage through holes in the web wall into the leg receptacles, so that the partial bodies in the housing are secured against being pushed out by the leg end sections.
  • the partial bodies can be produced in a simple manner from die-cast zinc material, in which case the safety function can be taken over by the partial body surrounding housing, which can easily be produced from sheet steel.
  • the partial bodies With regard to the above-mentioned form of engagement between the locking bolt and the leg end sections, the partial bodies are practically not loaded when pulling out or turning attempts, in particular not when the locking bolts abut the leg walls of the partial body surrounding housing in the area of the engagement point. For this reason, the safety function is not restricted in that the partial bodies are made of a relatively soft material, such as die-cast zinc.
  • the lock body be accommodated in a cover housing made of plastic.
  • the cover housing is divided approximately along the plane of the bracket.
  • the cover housing parts can be glued or welded together in the division plane.
  • both partial housings each having a passage eyelet for a temple end section and the passage eyelets on each partial housing being offset with respect to one another in the longitudinal direction of the temple end sections by their wall thickness.
  • cover housing is divided in a central plane perpendicular to the bracket plane and parallel to the leg end sections, and the housing halves are connected to one another by an overlap joint.
  • the lock body is generally designated 10 in the figures. It essentially consists of a U-shaped steel housing 12, which is closed on the underside by a welded-on base plate 14. Within the housing 12, two partial bodies 16 of identical shape are arranged offset by 180 ° to one another, these partial bodies being completely identical to one another. The partial bodies 16 are held axially in alignment with one another in the area of the lock center plane A by a pin and a pin receiving bore. The partial bodies 16 which are plugged together in the aligned position are secured in position relative to the U-shaped steel housing 12 by pins 18 inserted into the base plate 14. On the opposite end faces, the partial bodies 16 form an essentially cylindrical bore 60 for receiving a locking cylinder 20 with a cylinder core 22. The locking cylinder 20 is covered by a disk 24 on the side of the key insertion opening.
  • the cylinder core 22 has at the end opposite the key insertion opening two axially protruding drivers 26, 26 'for the positive reception of a toothed disk 28.
  • a locking bolt 32 is slidably guided, to each of which a rack 34 is fastened (e.g. welded).
  • the locking bolts 32 can be used twice for the opposite locking.
  • the engagement of the toothed disc 28 in the opposite racks 34 is clearly visible.
  • the Locking bolt 32 is prestressed in the direction of the engagement position by a spring 36, the spring being supported on a pin 38 attached in the channel 30.
  • a receptacle in the form of a stepped bore 42 is provided in the partial body 16, in which a control sleeve 46 preloaded by a spring 44 is displaceably guided in the region of the larger diameter.
  • the spring 44 is preferably conical so that the likewise conical end region of the control sleeve 46 can dip into the spring in the closed position. Due to the space gained in this way, the leg end section 40 of the striker can be pushed deeper into the partial body 16.
  • the leg end portion 40 of the striker has a concave engagement surface 48, in which the locking bolt 32 engages in the engaged position.
  • leg end section 40 When the leg end section 40 is inserted into the lock body 10, the leg end sections 40 of the striker dip into the pot-shaped control sleeve 46 and move it in the direction of the base plate 14.
  • the latch bolt 32 which is prestressed by the helical compression spring 36, moves in the latch engagement surface 48 and locks the leg end portions 40 of the striker in this closed position. The locking therefore takes place automatically without having to actuate the locking cylinder 20 by turning the key.
  • the cylinder core 22 must be turned with a suitable key in the counterclockwise direction according to FIG. 2, ie clockwise when viewed from below.
  • the locking bolt 32 via the positive connection between the toothed disk 28 and The rack 34 is pulled towards the locking cylinder 20 until the locking bolt 32 has left the engagement surface 48 and is in a disengaged position.
  • the leg end section 40 of the striker is now pushed out of the partial body 16 by the prestressed control sleeve 46 until it comes into contact with the shoulder 50 within the stepped bore 42.
  • the leg end portion 40 of the striker can now be removed.
  • the bolt guide channel 30 is at the same time partially blocked (see FIGS. 8 and 9) and the free end of the prestressed locking bolt 32 is supported on the outer peripheral surface of the control sleeve 46.
  • the key belonging to the locking cylinder 20 can in principle only be removed when the leg end section 40 of the locking bracket is in the locking position, since the locking bolt 32 can only enter the engagement position according to FIG. 2 in this locking position, i.e. the locking cylinder core only in its basic position according to FIG. 2 in this locking position can occur in which only the key can be inserted and removed.
  • the lock body 10 is surrounded on all sides by a cover housing 52, 52 '(FIG. 3), which is divided in the longitudinal plane of the lock body 10 and whose abutting edge edges partially overlap (see FIG. 3).
  • the cover housing 52, 52 ' consists of two housing halves 52, 52', which are used in accordance with FIGS. 3, 4 and 5 in a mirror-image arrangement. The two halves 52, 52 'are welded together at the all-round butt joints.
  • the housing halves at their two ends have eyelets 62, 63, 62 ', 63' offset from one another in the vertical direction, which come to lie one above the other when the housing halves 52, 52 'are assembled and the leg end sections 40 Allow passage.
  • FIGS. 6 to 7 A variant of the cover housing 54, 54 'is shown in FIGS. 6 to 7.
  • the plane of connection of the two housing halves extends here transversely to the longitudinal plane of the lock body 10.
  • the housing halves are connected to one another by integrally formed locking projections and locking recesses and then welded to the butt joint.
  • the engagement surfaces 48 of the two shackle end sections 40 lie on different sides of the leg end sections 40 and thus the shackle plane B, so that the toothed racks 34 engage in diametrically opposite locations with the toothed disk 28 or a toothed pinion which lies in the direction of a lock central axis C, whereby the lock cylinder axis coincides with this lock center axis C.
  • 16 recesses 65 are provided in the partial bodies.
  • the control sleeves 46 immediately close the bolt guide channels 30 so that the key can be released immediately and the Locking bolts 32 then remain in the position according to FIG. 9, since they abut the respective control sleeve 46. Since the locking bolts 32 remain in the disengaged position according to FIG. 9, the locking cylinder core cannot return to the basic state according to FIGS. 1 and 2, but remains in the position according to FIG. 9. The key is therefore not removed possible as long as the leg end sections 40 are drawn out of the leg recesses 42, as shown in FIG. To close the U-lock, only the leg end sections 40 need to be pushed back into the leg recesses 42. You then push the control sleeves 46 back into the position shown in Figures 1 and 2.
  • the locking bolts 32 can return from the disengaged position according to FIGS. 8 and 9 into the engaged position according to FIGS. 1 and 2 and engage in the engagement surfaces 48 again. Only then has the locking cylinder core 22 returned to the basic state according to FIGS. 1 and 2 and only then can the key be removed. If you can pull the key, you have a guarantee that the striker is put together with the lock body 10 and locked by the locking bolt 32. In an attempt to twist the leg end portions 40, the locking bolts 32 are pressed against the leg walls 12b of the steel housing; however, there is no effect on the locking cylinder 20. Otherwise, twisting of the leg end sections 40 is prevented by the tangential engagement of the locking bolts 32 in the engagement surfaces 48, since the leg walls 12b cannot evade after they have been welded to one another via the base plate 14.
  • Figures 6 and 7 differ from the embodiment according to Figures 1 to 5 only in the different design of the cover housing 54, 54 '.
  • the cover housing halves meet here in the lock center plane A and overlap, as shown in Figure 7. They are welded together in the area of the overlap.
  • FIGS. 8 and 9 show the same shape of the cover housing as in FIGS. 6 and 7. However, since there is otherwise an identity with the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 5 with regard to the device, reference was made to FIGS. 8 and 9 to show the state of the lock opening.
