Definitions
- the invention relates to a rotary lock cylinder according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a rotary lock cylinder of this type is known for example from US-A-1,434,947.
- a break-in method has now become known in which a self-tapping and hardened steel screw with a diameter of approximately 4 mm and with a hexagon head is screwed into the cylinder core of such a rotary lock cylinder.
- a pulling device for example according to DE-A-3 711 938, the screwed-in screw is pulled out of the cylinder housing together with the cylinder core and the now exposed driver is turned with a screwdriver and the lock is thus opened.
- claws can be attached to the inner end of the cylinder core and the cylinder core can be coupled to the drivers.
- the generic US-A-1,434,947 shows a rotary lock cylinder, in which four steel pins extending in the longitudinal direction of the core are arranged in the cylinder core. According to column 1, lines 21 to 24, these pins are intended to prevent a drilling tool from being screwed in. This is to prevent the tumbler pins from being destroyed or rendered ineffective, as mentioned in column 2, last section. However, the burglary method mentioned in the introduction to the description of the present application cannot be prevented with these pens. The pins would only guide the hardened steel screw of a puller, but could not prevent the steel screw from being held in the cylinder core.
- the invention can therefore also be based on the object of creating a rotary lock cylinder of the type mentioned, in which the burglary method mentioned is ineffective and which is nevertheless functional and can be produced inexpensively.
- the burglary method should also be prevented in a double lock cylinder in which the cylinder core is inserted at the front.
- the rotary lock cylinder With the rotary lock cylinder according to the invention, it is as possible possible to screw a hardened steel screw into the cylinder core. Here, however, the threaded part of the guided screw is sheared off by the pins and / or the core pins. If the pulling device is now pulled on the screw, there is no hold in the cylinder core and is pulled out of it, the cylinder core remaining in the housing. If the screw is screwed in too close to the core pins in the cylinder core, the tumbler pins in their holes are pushed radially outwards by the screw. However, this leads to a complete blocking of the rotary lock cylinder, since the Anchored outside core pins anchor the cylinder core in the cylinder housing.
- the pins are arranged in such a way that when a screw is screwed in, it is guided on these pins and the core and housing pins are thereby pressed onto the block in the cylinder housing.
- the screw is turned further, the threaded cheese is peeled off on the hardened tumbler pins. Due to this measure, the screw has no holding strength in the cylinder and therefore cannot tear the cylinder or pull the core.
- the pins extend in the longitudinal direction of the cylinder core, two or four pins being provided, depending on the arrangement of the tumbler rows.
- the pins are preferably inserted into the cylinder core in such a way that they run perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the cylinder core and parallel to the tumbler pins.
- Several pairs of pins are preferably arranged at a distance from one another. If the distances between the pairs of pins are different, the security is increased that when the screw is screwed in, its threaded part is sheared off by the pins.
- the rotary lock cylinder shown in Fig. 1 is a double cylinder with two cylinder housings 1, which are connected to each other by means of a web 2 made of hardened steel.
- the rotary lock cylinder can also be a simple cylinder.
- a cylinder core 3 is rotatably mounted in a known manner, which has a key channel 8, in which a key, not shown here, is used to actuate the lock.
- the tumbler rows of core pins 5, housing pins 4, springs 6 and chamber walls 7 are arranged.
- the core pins 5 are made of hardened steel, while the housing pins 4 can be made of brass.
- the rotary lock cylinder shown has a so-called Euro profile, but other profiles are also possible here.
- the cylinder core 3 has four blind bores 10 which are open to the rear and which run parallel to its axis of rotation and are inserted into the pins 11 made of hardened steel with a fixed fit.
- the pins 11 have a diameter of approximately 2 mm and extend approximately over the entire length of the cylinder core 3. It is essential that, in the arrangement shown in FIG. 1, the two lower pins 11 are at a distance from one another which is smaller than approximately 3 , 2 mm and preferably less than 3.0 mm.
- the distance B between said pins 11 and the closest core pins 5 is preferably less than about 0.6 mm.
- two pins 11 may suffice, but generally no more than four pins 11 are required.
- a plurality of pins 20-24 can also be used, which are perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the cylinder core 12 extend.
- the pins 20 to 24 are inserted with a tight fit in bores 15-19 arranged in pairs which, as shown in FIG. 2, are each arranged between two bores 14 for the tumbler pins. It is also important here that the distances between two associated pins 20 to 24 are less than about 3.2 mm. The distances may be the same or, as shown in FIG. 2, distances D and E may be different.
- hardened steel pins 32 are additionally used in bores 31 of a web 30, which prevent the web 30 made of brass from shearing off.
- the pins 32 extend inside into the cylinder housing and on the end face up to close to the outer surface of the cylinder core.
- Threaded bore 34 or the driver 33 each arranged at least one steel pin 32.
- the diameter of the pins 11 and 20 to 24 can also be greater than 2 mm, depending on the size of the rotary lock cylinder.

Description
- Fig. 1
- einen Querschnitt durch einen erfindungsgemässen Drehschliesszylinder,
- Fig. 2
- eine Ansicht eines Zylinderkerns nach einer Variante,
- Fig. 3
- Fig. 4
- einen Teilschnitt durch einen Doppelzylinder, und
