Definitions
- the invention is based on a scaffold, in particular scaffolding, with stand tubes and horizontal and / or diagonal bars, with one or more stand rosettes located at a distance above one another being fixedly attached to each stand tube, said rosettes having an annular base with an average diameter corresponding to the stand tube Opening and have an upwardly projecting outer rosette edge, the ends of the horizontal and / or diagonal bars are provided with support claws which extend over the rosette edge, each support claw is fastened to the rosette edge by means of a wedge, and the rosette edge in the upper region has a greater thickness than in the area near the bottom of the stand rosette.
- Scaffolds of the aforementioned type have the advantage that the horizontal and / or diagonal bars with their support claws can be inserted at the ends simply from above between already fixed stand tubes, so that the support claws reach over the rosette edge. No space is therefore required to move the horizontal and / or diagonal bars in their longitudinal direction.
- Another advantage of this scaffold construction is that the nodes on the stand tubes, which are each formed by a stand rosette and the bars that can be connected all around, result in a rigid connection and thus also rigid overall scaffolds when the wedges are locked.
- the rosette edge has a greater thickness in the upper region than in the region near the bottom of the stand rosette, because the upper end of the rosette edge is provided with an annular bead on both sides.
- this bead only serves to reinforce the rosette, but not as an anti-lift device.
- the bead can also not be effective as an anti-lift device because the wedge rests against the bead in such a way that it can easily be removed with the support claw upwards, so that no movement can occur to prevent unintentional lifting when moving upwards.
- the present invention is based on the object of improving the scaffolding explained at the outset in such a way that effective securing of the support claws even with loosely seated wedges is achieved with simple means.
- the object is achieved according to the invention in that the inner surface and the outer surface of the upright rosette, viewed in cross section, run upward at an acute angle with a linear thickening of the rosette edge.
- the support claw in cooperation with the wedge, even if it is loosely seated, is immediately clamped during a lifting movement and an unwanted lifting is made impossible.
- Another advantage is that the support claw in question is taken along when the wedge in question is driven in, so that it is automatically prevented that the support claw only grips over the rosette edge with a small part, which would result in an inaccurate and unsafe mounting.
- FIG. 1 illustrates in the exemplary embodiment a small piece of a stand tube 1 to which a stand rosette is firmly attached, preferably fastened by means of a weld 4.
- the upright rosette 2 consists essentially of an annular base 3 with an average opening corresponding to the diameter of the upright tube 1 and of a rosette edge 5.
- This outer upwardly projecting rosette edge 5 has a greater thickness in the upper region than in the region near the base 3 the stand rosette 2.
- the inner surface 6 and the outer surface 7 of the upright rosette 2 extend upward at a sharp angle 18 4 ° to 8 °, preferably 6 1/2 °, with a linear thickening of the rosette edge 5.
- the decisive factor for the choice of the angle is the occurrence of the self-locking, which will be explained in more detail below. It is desirable that the inner surface 6 of the rosette edge 5 is as cylindrical as possible.
- the stand rosettes 2 are generally drop-forged in practice, it is expedient to let the inner surface of the rosette edge run at an acute angle of approximately 3 ° to 6 °, preferably 4 1/2 ° to the central axis of the stand tube 1, so that the forged stand rosette can be better removed from the die. Accordingly, the outer surface 7 of the rosette edge expediently extends at an angle of 8 ° to 13 °, preferably 11 °, to the central axis of the stand tube 1.
- the stand rosette 2 is used to fasten bolts in a node.
- the horizontal bars 8 and at their free ends are each provided with a support claw 10, which essentially consists of a solid extension 11 and a claw hook 13.
- the approach 11 is adapted to the free field of the horizontal bar 8 or 9 and expediently fastened by means of a weld seam 12.
- the support claw 10 has a slot 14 through which a wedge 15 can be pushed downwards.
- the wedge 15 is thus held in the slot 14 of the support claw.
- the wedge rests on one contact surface 31 of the slot and on the other on the outer surface 7 of the rosette rim 5 of the upright rosette 2. Accordingly, the wedge 15 as such and the contact surface 31 of the slot 14 and the outer surface 7 of the rosette edge 5 of the stand rosette 2 are adapted to one another.
- the wedge 15 is advantageously held captively in the slot 14.
- the wedge 15 is advantageously angled outwards at the lower wedge end 16.
- This wedge end has a hole 17 for receiving a pin or a bolt or the like, the length of which is greater than the width of the slot 14.
- FIG. 2 in addition to the two horizontal bars 8 and 9 described, further horizontal bars with a supporting claw can be fastened, such as the horizontal bar 19.
- a horizontal diagonal tube 20 can also be used at an angle to this.
- Another type of fastening with diagonal tubes 27 and 28 results from the use of diagonal support claws 21 and 22, which are designed essentially like the support claws 10 with slots and wedges 15.
- the connection to the diagonal tubes 27 and 28 is not made here by a weld seam, but by means of welded-on threaded bolts 23 and 24 on which nuts 25 and 26 are seated.
- the ends 29 and 30 of the diagonal tubes 27 and 28 are flattened and each have a bore for pushing onto the threaded bolts 23, 24.
- the operation of the above construction is essentially as follows.
- the relevant claw is pushed or hooked in with the claw hook 13 over the rosette edge 5, the wedge 15 being held in an upper position. If you let go of the wedge 15 now, it falls under its own weight and lies down on the outer surface 7 of the rosette rim 5 and on the other against the contact surface 31 of the shoulder 11. Normally, the wedge 15 is then struck, and it has been shown in practice that the bearing claw in question is carried along down and moved until the claw hook 13 engages completely behind the rosette edge 5 until it stops.
- FIG. 3 illustrates a further exemplary embodiment of the invention, the same reference numerals as in FIG. 1 being used for the same parts, so that the same explanations apply as for FIG. 1 for these parts.
- the outer surface 107 of the upright rosette 2 is spherical and the wedge 115 is adapted to it and, as FIG. 3 makes clear, is essentially crescent-shaped.
- FIG. 4 illustrates a further exemplary embodiment of the invention, the same reference numerals again being used for the same parts compared to FIG. 1.
- the inner surface 116 of the rosette edge 5 is inclined inward at an acute angle 118 of approximately 3 ° to 6 °, preferably 5 °, to the central axis of the upright tube 1 and the outer surface 117 runs parallel to the central axis of the upright tube 1
- Hook 113 of the support claw 10 is reinforced towards the bottom, so that the two interlocking parts support one another with respect to their reinforcements in the sense of securing against lifting out.
- the Distance between the upper inner edge of the rosette edge 5 and the upright tube 1 selected greater than the greatest thickness of the hook 113, so that it can be easily inserted from above behind the rosette edge.
- FIG. 5 finally shows a possible exemplary embodiment, the same reference numerals as in FIG. 1 again being used for the same parts.
- the rosette rim 215 is designed as an inwardly projecting annular bead.
- Each hook 213 of each support claw 10 has at its lower end a thickening 216 which engages behind the bead 215.
- the distance between the inner surface of the bead of the rosette rim 215 on the one hand and the upright tube 1 on the other hand is chosen to be larger than the thickening 216 of the hook 213, so that the hook can be inserted again from above behind the rosette rim 215 without hindrance.
