Thus, the heat bonding mechanism 43 heats that portion of the thermal adhesive tape MT which is joined with the turnup portion BP.

Claims (18)

1. Appareil de cerclage, comprenant
un dispositif de transfert (1) destiné à recevoir des objets empilés (P) à cercler et à les transférer le long d'un trajet prescrit, et
un dispositif de cerclage (2) des objets (P) à cercler transférés vers lui par le dispositif de transfert (1), dans lequel
le dispositif de cerclage (2) comporte un dispositif d'enroulement (41) destiné à ënrouler une bande (MT) autour des objets (P) qui doivent être cerclés de manière qu'une première extrémité de la bande (MT) soit raccordée à une autre partie de la bande (MT), et un dispositif (43) de fixation de l'extrémité raccordée et de l'autre partie de la bande enroulée autour des objets (P) à cercler, et
le dispositif de transfert (1) comporte un support (8) portant les objets (P) à cercler et capable de se déplacer entre une première position (CRHP) dans laquelle le support (8) supporte les objets (P) à cercler et une seconde position (CRSP) à l'intérieur du dispositif de cerclage (41), et un premier dispositif d'entraînement (15) destiné à déplacer le support (8) de la première position à la seconde après que les objets (P) à cercler on été placés sur le support (8), caractérisé en ce que
le dispositif d'enroulement (41) comporte
un organe d'accrochage (72) retenant la première extrémité de la bande (MT) et capable de se déplacer suivant une courbe circulaire qui recoupe le trajet de déplacement, la courbe circulaire comprenant une troisième position (CTHP) et une quatrième position (CTIP), et un second dispositif d'entraînement (75) destiné à déplacer l'organe d'accrochage (72) de la troisième position (CTHP) à la quatrième position (CTIP) après que le support (8) s'est déplacé de la première position (CRHP) vers la seconde position (CRSP) sous la commande du premier dispositif d'entraînement (15) si bien que le côté des objets repousse la bande et la replie dans la direction de déplacement du support, avec déplacement de l'organe d'accrochage (72) de la quatrième position (CTIP) à la troisième position (CTHP) si bien que la bande (MT) est enroulée autour des objets (P) à cercler, puis par déplacement de l'organe d'accrochage (72) de la troisième position (CTHP) à une cinquième position (CTSP) délimitée entre la troisième et la quatrième position, si bien que la première extrémité de la bande (MT) est raccordée à l'autre partie de la bande (MT).
2. Appareil de cerclage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'organe d'accrochage (72) est formé de manière que le diamètre de la courbe circulaire de déplacement soit inférieur à la longueur des objets (P) à cercler dans la direction de transfert.
3. Appareil de cerclage selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le premier et le second dispositif d'entraînement (15, 75) ont une source motrice commune.
4. Appareil de cerclage selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que le support (8) comporte plusieurs tablettes (13A-13C) sur lesquelles sont placés les objets (P) à cercler, deux au moins des tablettes (13A-13C) étant séparées par un espace supérieur à la largeur de la bande (MT), et le dispositif d'enroulement (41) positionne la bande dans l'espace de manière que la bande (MT) soit enroulée autour des objets (P) à cercler placés sur les tablettes (13A-13C) par passage dans ledit espace.

Appareil de cerclage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif d'enroulement (41) comporte un arbre rotatif (66), le second dispositif d'entraînement (75) fait tourner l'arbre autour de son axe longitudinal, et l'organe d'accrochage (72) est fixé parallèlement à l'arbre, à une distance déterminée de celui-ci, et a des faces de maintien entre lesquelles est retenue la première extrémité de la bande.
6. Appareil de cerclage selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que l'organe d'accrochage (72) a deux bras (72A, 72B) tournés l'un vers l'autre et capables d'être raccordés l'un à l'autre et séparés l'un de l'autre.
7. Appareil de cerclage selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que les faces de maintien sont formées sur des surfaces opposées des extrémités distantes des bras (72A, 72B).
8. Appareil de cerclage selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que les faces de maintien sont formées par des surfaces ondulées placées transversalement à l'axe de déplacement de l'organe d'accrochage (72).
9. Appareil de cerclage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un dispositif d'extraction de paquets qui retire les objets (P) cerclés par le dispositif de cerclage (2) du support (8) lorsque le support (8) portant les objets cerclés (P) est déplacé de la seconde position (CRSP) vers la première position (CRHP) sous la commande du premier dispositif d'entraînement (15).
10. Appareil de cerclage selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce que le support (8) se déplace en outre entre la première position (CRHP) et une sixième position délimitée du côté de la première position (CRHP) opposé à la seconde position (CRSP), le premier dispositif d'entraînement (15) déplace le support (8) au-delà de la première position (CRHP) vers la sixième position après que le support (8) a été déplacé de la seconde position (CRSP) à la première position (CRHP), et le dispositif d'extraction du paquet comporte un racleur (26) fixé à demeure entre la première et la sixième position et destiné à venir au contact des objets cerclés (P) placés sur le support (8) afin que les objets cerclés (P) soient en butée contre le racleur (26) et soient retirés du support (8) lorsque celui-ci est déplacé de la première à la sixième position.
11. Appareil de cerclage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif de transfert (1) comporte un dispositif d'alignement fixé au support (8) et destiné à aligner des objets (P) à cercler sur le support (8) lorsque le support (8) se déplace de la première à la seconde position.
12. Appareil de cerclage selon la revendication 11, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif d'alignement comporte une bande de montée disposée sur le support (8) et destinée à être en butée contre un bord latéral des objets (P) à cercler, et une bande de régulation fixée de façon mobile sur le support (8) afin que la bande de régulation soit retenue dans une septième position à distance des objets (P) à cercler placés sur le support (8) lorsque celui-ci est dans la première position, et en ce que la bande de régulation est déplacée vers une huitième position afin qu'elle soit en butée contre les autres bords latéraux des objets (P) à cercler lorsque le support (8) est déplacé de la première à la seconde position, si bien que les objets (P) à cercler sont repoussés contre la bande ascendante et sont alignés.
13. Appareil de cerclage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un dispositif destiné à faire avancer la bande (MT) vers l'organe d'accrochage (72) du dispositif d'enroulement placé dans la troisième position.
14. Appareil de cerclage selon la revendication 13, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif d'avance comporte deux rouleaux d'avance (48, 49) maintenant la bande (MT) entre eux et pouvant tourner dans un sens afin qu'ils fassent avancer la bande (MT) vers l'organe d'accrochage (72) et dans l'autre sens afin qu'ils retirent la bande (MT), un galet de guidage (56) placé du côté de la seconde position par rapport à une droite reliant la position de contact roulant de la paire de galets d'avance (48, 49) à la troisième position du support (8), et un dispositif de coupe (53A, 53B) placé entre le galet de guidage et les galets d'avance (48, 49) et destiné à couper la bande (MT).

Appareil de cerclage selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif d'extraction de paquets (126) comporte un levier d'extraction (126A) mobile entre une neuvième position dans laquelle le levier se trouve sur le trajet de déplacement et peut être en butée contre les objets cerclés portés par le support (8) qui se déplacent de la seconde position vers la première, et une dixième position dans laquelle le levier d'extraction (126A) se trouve en-dehors du trajet de déplacement, et un dispositif (126C) de rappel du levier d'extraction de la dixième position vers la neuvième.
16. Appareil de cerclage selon la revendication 15, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un dispositif de distribution des objets à cercler sur le support
(8) occupant la première position, le dispositif de distribution étant mobile d'une onzième position, au-dessus du support (8), vers une douzième position, au-dessous du support, et ayant une tablette imbriquée dans le support (8). 17.
