Definitions

  • the invention relates to a work table, in particular an office table of the type mentioned in the preamble of the main claim.
  • DE-U 8000787 also discloses a table with a height-adjustable table top and two table cheeks, the height being adjusted by rotating two support disks provided with support surfaces about a double eccentric axis of rotation.
  • the known embodiment does not allow a work table to be created with a few rigidly connected parts, rather it requires a sliding guide for the cheeks of the height-adjustable table top on two stand feet on the table sides with a counter support surface for the support disks.
  • additional holding means are required in order to secure the table top against shifting transversely to its longitudinal extent in its different height positions.
  • the known embodiment requires a strong and massive training of its parts or additional means in order to achieve the necessary stability and freedom from vibration.
  • the object of the invention is not only to achieve different height positions and inclined positions of the table top with simpler means, but also to enable at least two, preferably three or even four different table heights with the same rigid carrying, supporting and fastening means, the adjustment to the different table heights should be done quickly with simple tools.
  • the support, support and fastening means should also be space-saving, give the table the necessary stability and freedom from vibration, and the table top should always assume the same exact position in relation to the side bolsters despite the height adjustability.
  • two adjacent table tops should be able to be held on their adjacent transverse edges on a common support cheek.
  • the invention provides the features of the characterizing part of the main claim.
  • the features of the subclaims serve to improve and further develop the features of the main claim.
  • the advantage of the worktable according to the invention can be seen in the fact that by using the same rigid parts for all height positions of the table top, low storage is possible, and the transportation costs can be reduced compared to known embodiments. Furthermore, the parts of the work table according to the invention offer the possibility of easy supplementation and interchangeability with different height-like adjustment devices with similar fastening plates. The attachment of partial panels at different heights and inclinations is possible when using several support profiles. The rigid connection of all parts ensures high stability and freedom from vibration.
  • the work table essentially consists of the two side cheeks 1, 2, the two support profile bars 3, 4 connecting them, and the table top 5, all of which are rigidly connected to one another.
  • the cheeks 1, 2 preferably have a lower frame section 6 and are designed in the same way.
  • a strip-like head part 7 is provided above the rectangular or square frame section 6, which in the example shown carries four square threaded bores 8 at an average distance x, the square standing on one of its tips, i.e. the connecting lines of two opposite threaded holes 8 represent a standing cross.
  • the bores 8 can either be designed as blind bores from both sides of the head part 7 or can be passed through from one side to the other side of the head part, so that a right-hand thread is created on one side and a left-hand thread on the other side.
  • the head part 7 is covered by a hood 9 which can be clamped on the side sections 10, 11 and possibly also clamped on the side wall 12 facing away from the viewer or the facing side wall 13 or can be fastened to the head part 7 by other means . Furthermore, gaps and cavities and means (not shown) can be provided in order to lead communication and energy supply lines within the hood 9.
  • the hood 9 has in its opposite walls 12, 13 overlapping round or, as shown, square cutouts 14, 15 which, when the hood is attached to the head part, have the position 14 ', 15' around the two pairs of bores 8 arranged square take in.
  • each profile rod 3, 4 there is a befe with this at a right angle Stistsplatte 16 connected, the circumference of which corresponds to the recesses 14, 15 of the hood 9 in such a way that the fastening plates 16 can be fastened to the head part 7 in a manner described in more detail below and three side edges of the fastening plate 16, for example the side edges 17, 18, 19 ( 2) are enclosed by the edges 20, 21, 22 (FIG. 5) delimiting the cutouts 14, 15.
  • the square plate 16 has three smooth holes 23, the arrangement of which corresponds to the arrangement of three threaded bores 8 in the same arrangement in the head part 7.
  • a fourth hole which corresponds to the fourth threaded hole of the square arrangement of the threaded holes 8, is omitted.
  • the diameter of the holes 23 is such that one screw each can be screwed into the threaded holes 8.
  • the three holes 23 are arranged in the form of a triangle, the base line G of which is located on the center line M of the square plate 16, and in the position of the plate 16 according to FIG. 2 above this base line G, the end of the support profile rod 3 and 4, respectively the plate 16 is connected.
  • the support profile bars 3, 4 are arranged double-eccentrically with respect to their mounting plates 16, i.e.
  • the cross-sectional center S of the support profile rods 3 and 4 is staggered both in relation to the horizontal center line M in FIG. 2 and in relation to the vertical center line W.
  • the mounting plate 16 can with the end faces of the support profile rods 3, 4 e.g. be welded. There is also the possibility of providing the plate 16 with short profile sockets, telescopically pushed and fastened over the profile rods. Here it is assumed that the plates 16 are connected directly to the ends of the profiled bars 3, 4.
  • the profile bars 3, 4 have a rectangular cross-section, for example in a size of 40x60 mm. As can be seen from FIGS. 2 and 3, one wall 24 of the profiled rod 3, 4 closes with its contact surface 25 with the edge 17 of the plate 16, so that the contact surface 25 is at a distance a from the lower edge 26 of the plate 16 . If the plate 16 is rotated in the direction of the arrow K, again three screws being inserted through the holes 23 and screwed into the threaded bores 8 ', 8 "and 8"' in FIG. 5, the profile rods 3, 4 get into the Position 3 ', 4', the wall 27 with its support surface 28 coming into the dash-dotted position according to Fig.
  • the support profile rods 3, 4 receive the position 3 "', 4"' and the support surface 32 of the wall 33 the distance d from the lower edge of the plate 16 Since the lower edge of the plate 16 is always in the same position due to the arrangement of the holes 23 and the threaded holes 8, the different positions of the profiled bars 3, 4 result in different height positions of the support surfaces of these bars from the floor on which the table is placed becomes.
  • the table top 5 carries near the edges 43, 44 threaded bushings 40, 41, 42 starting from its underside (FIGS. 1 and 6a).
  • the arrangement of these threaded bushings is such that the front longitudinal edge 45 and the rear longitudinal edge 46 of the table top 5 each cut off with the front and rear edges 47, 49, 48, 50 of the two hoods 9, regardless of the height position of the table top 5 .
  • the profile bars 3, 4 have holes 51, 52, 53 and 54 located at the same height, which are diametrically opposed in pairs; their position in relation to the arrangement of the threaded bushes 40, 41, 42 located on a transverse line of the table top 5 is selected so that the threaded bolts can be screwed into the threaded bushing 41 through the bores 51, 52 when the profile rods are in the positions 3, 4 and 3 "and 4" according to FIG. 2.
  • a threaded bolt can be inserted through the holes 53, 54 into the threaded bushing 40 when the profile rods are in position 3 ' , 4' and a threaded bolt can also be inserted through the holes 53, 54 in the threaded bushing 42 when the profile rods are in the position 3 "', 4'" according to FIG. 2.
  • the table top 5 can be given an inclined position with respect to the horizontal if the respective upper contact surface of the support profile bars 3, 4 is provided with a wedge-shaped intermediate piece (FIG. 4). This has a correspondingly inclined bore 58 through which a screw 59 is passed.
  • the respective rod side opposite the support surface of the support profile rod 3, 4 carries a wedge piece 60 of the same inclination as the intermediate piece 57 and with a bore 61.
  • the holes 51 to 54 in the embodiment according to FIG. 3 extended to one side as elongated holes 62, 63, 64, 65.
  • 6a-c three different height positions of the table top 5 are shown.
  • the table top 5 takes its highest position, for example a height of 75 cm above the installation surface of the table, with the support profile bars 3, 4 taking the position in the solid line according to FIG. 2.
  • the table top 5 assumes a height position at which it is located, for example, 71 cm above the installation plane of the table and the support profile bars 3, 4 assume the position 3 ', 4' according to FIG. 2.
  • the terminal support plates 16, on which the two support profile rods 3, 4 are attached have been rotated such that the rods assume the position 3 "', 4111 of FIG. 2 and the table top has a clear height position of eg 68 cm.
  • the plate 5 has a height position of approximately 72 cm above the floor.
  • the front support bar 3 is in a position 3 'according to FIG. 2, while the rear support bar 4 is e.g. 2 and thus the table top 5 is given an inclined position.
  • wedge-shaped intermediate pieces 57 are mounted on the support surfaces 28 and 32 of the support profile rods 3, 4, on which the table top 5 rests, which is supported by corresponding Screws 59 is held using wedge pieces 60.
  • corresponding filler pieces 66 are inserted into these cutouts (FIG. 6d) and fastened with screws inserted into the threaded bores 8, so that there is a plane Outside of the hoods 9 results.
