  • the invention relates to a method and a device for the production of tape rolls of narrow tape strips cut from a wide tape, in particular narrow film strips. It also relates to the tape rolls produced by this method or device.
  • Tape material is often coated or otherwise treated in widths of up to one and a half meters and then cut into narrow tape strips, which in the case of narrow film strips are often not allowed to be wider than 16 mm. These strips of tape are then usually wound onto a roll core to make them easier to transport.
  • the holes can either be circular or elliptical, or they can be elongated into slots.
