Definitions
- the invention relates to profile iron for use as a belt or stand in truss girders or similar structures with the features according to the preamble of the claim.
- Building structures such as trusses, have so far been made using four belts or stands made of hot or cold-rolled profiled iron, which were connected to one another by wall bars.
- the wide flange - 1 profiles have the disadvantage of excessive weight, so that they are not suitable for economical light structures. Since these profiles have two different axes of symmetry, there is also a different type of fastening of the wall bars on the two main sides of the framework.
- I-profiles with normal or narrow flanges have a lower weight than the former, but they have considerably different inertia diameters and therefore require a large oversize on the side of less inertia, while the different fastening of the wall bars on the two sides is even more pronounced.
- Angle profiles with flanges of the same width are advantageous thanks to the simplicity of attaching the connecting parts for the wall bars, since the two flanges are arranged according to the profile edge, but their smallest radius of inertia is very small, which necessitates considerable oversizing. Since the center of gravity of these angle profiles lies outside the planes of the two flanges, there are always side effects, such as bending moments, which make oversizing necessary and therefore result in considerable dead weights.
- Tubular profiles with a circular or square cross section are also used, the latter in particular bringing with them a certain simplicity of drawing and assembly, since they have the same axes of symmetry on two sides which are perpendicular to one another. They also have large diameters of inertia and can therefore be manufactured with little weight and without oversizing, but their manufacturing costs are excessive due to the need to weld the elements tightly together (in accordance with the regulations for rust prevention). There is therefore a need to shape the cut for round pipes and to move the part for welding on the circumference for square and round pipes.
- a first leg is arranged at right angles to the respective flange and in the same direction as the other flange and this first leg is extended by a second leg, which is at a right angle to the first leg in a different from each other another flange of the angle iron removing direction is arranged.
- Wall parts are attached to these angle irons and a door is also articulated on them. Both the wall parts and the door consist of a flat sheet metal and have circumferential flanges bent inwards at right angles.
- the length of the first leg of the angle iron is dimensioned independently of the flange length so that when the cabinet is assembled, the outer surfaces of the wall parts and the door are aligned with the outer surfaces of the angle iron serving as a corner stand.
- the length of the second leg is arbitrary, it only has to be large enough to be able to attach fasteners to it.
- DE-A-2 654 239 Also known from DE-A-2 654 239 is a control cabinet with a framework made of profiled bars, in which closed spar profiled bars are used which have a perforated flange on at least one side. In addition to great stability, this is intended to enable simple and reliable connection of the individual spar profile bars to form a scaffold.
- the object of the invention is to provide a profiled iron for use as a belt or stand in building structures in general, and in particular in truss girders, which eliminates the disadvantages of the previously used profiled iron and allows simple fastening of the wall bars without causing the same bending moments.
- an open, right-angled angle iron as is known from US-A-3 110 535, is assumed according to the invention, this angle iron being designed such that the first and second legs each have a length which is exactly half The length of a flange of the angle iron is the same, so that the planes running through the centers of the extension legs run through the pivot axis of the profile.
- the effect lines of the forces acting on the belt or the stand via the connecting parts of the wall bars are on the center of gravity of the profile cut sens so that the side effects due to bending moments are practically zero.
- the profile iron also has flat end legs that are at right angles to one another, the connecting parts for the wall bars can be attached easily and completely symmetrically on both sides.
- the profiled iron according to the invention also has a large radius of inertia, so that excessive oversizing can be avoided and the profiled iron consequently has a limited dead weight, which makes it possible to bridge larger light widths with a smaller stitch under otherwise identical conditions.
- Another advantage of the profiled iron according to the invention is that shorter times are required to carry out the construction for the truss, since only the position of the connecting parts for the wall bars need be determined, the connecting parts being able to be designed in the form of plates, angles or the like, which can be screwed or welded to the relevant points. This results in a particularly simple construction and assembly using cheap standard parts.
- the profile iron according to the invention for use as a belt or stand is shown in cross section in the single drawing figure.
- the profile generally designated 10 consists of an open, right-angled angle iron with two flanges 11, 11 a of equal length, from the free ends of which bent extension legs 12, 13 and 12a, 13a extend.
- first leg 12 or 12a the length of which is equal to half the length of a flange 11 or 11a of the angle iron and which is at right angles to the associated flange 11 or 11a in the same direction as the other flange of the Angle iron stands.
- second leg 13 or 13a the length of which is also equal to half the length of a flange 11 or 11a of the angle iron and which is at right angles with respect to the first leg 12 or 12a and extends in one direction in such a way that it moves away from the other flange 11 a or 11 of the angle iron.
- G the center of gravity designated by G is formed by the intersection of the two planes running through the centers of the extension legs 13 and 13a.
- the connecting parts for the wall bars 14, 15 consist of an angle plate 16 reinforced by a rib 17, which is attached to the legs 13, 13a of the profile 10 on two sides. In this way, any risk of bending the legs 12, 12a in relation to the flanges 11, 11a of the profile in question is eliminated.
- the profile according to the invention has a large radius of inertia, so that it can be designed with a low weight and can be used for light structures that can also bridge large light widths with a small stitch.
- the profile according to the invention can be produced in the cold bending process, although it is also easily possible to produce it in the hot rolling process.
