Description
Telescopic rangefinder combined with a see-through viewfinder, especially in combination with a lens For focusing a camera lens by rangefinder are two fundamentally different types of adjustment devices known.
Either you use a basic rangefinder with two images of the object to be measured generated at separate locations specular means thrown into the eye of the observer and shifted by one reflective element or with the help of radiation-deflecting means (rotating wedges, sliding lenses, Swivel lenses) are brought to coincidence, or a so-called telescope rangefinder is used, in which a single enlarged image of the object to be measured with the help of a Telescope system generated in the eye of the observer and by adjusting the telescope lens is focused.
With both rangefinder devices, this will be the image coverage or focusing effecting optical means with the movement of the camera lens connected in such a way that the camera lens is in the event of image coincidence or maximum image sharpness is focused on the viewed object.
It has already become known from patent specification 286387 to connect a telescopic rangefinder of simple design with a see-through viewfinder in the form of a so-called Newton viewfinder in such a way that the enlarged distance measurement image fills part of the viewfinder image space. The known device has the disadvantage that, as a result of the arrangement of the viewfinder beam path and the distance measuring beam path in the same axis, the field of view of the viewfinder is met in a disturbing manner by components of the range finder.
The present invention is concerned with improving a such combined finderscope rangefinder.
The subject of the invention is a combined with a see-through viewfinder Telescope rangefinder, especially in coupling with a camera lens which the enlarged distance measurement image fills a part of the viewfinder image space, its peculiarity consists in the fact that the viewfinder and range finder are switched on have separate viewing openings from beam splitting means. Preferably will A common eyepiece system for viewfinder and rangefinder at the viewing point arranged. In particular, an embodiment is used in the case of the viewfinder and rangefinder, as it is common with the so-called terrestrial telescopes, have a common, image-inverting optical system. As intended the field of view of the viewfinder can be large, and in particular that of the camera lens must correspond to the captured image section, the viewfinder is preferably designed in such a way that that the viewing and viewing openings are filled with lenses of the same focal length, so that the viewfinder image appears in its natural size. The rangefinder that should only show a small image section, is designed according to the invention in such a way that that his objective has a much larger focal length than the eyepiece, so, that an enlarged image of the object to be measured can be viewed. In order to get this enlarged distance measurement image as bright as possible, expediently the radiation splitting means designed so that they are only in one Part of the image field are reflective. Depending on the position of the beam splitting means In the beam path of the viewfinder and rangefinder, it is mirrored designed in such a way that the distance measurement image is the central part of the viewfinder image fills out.
If it matters, a significantly enlarged distance measurement image To obtain several reflective surfaces for the purpose of reducing the dimensions of the apparatus in the telescope rangefinder to achieve the required long beam path arranged between eyepiece and lens.
To make it easier for the observer to adjust the focus, a known to be present in the terrestrial telescope system used in the present invention The area lying on the real image plane is designed as a matt area or as a line grid. With such a definition of the real image plane, it is then still according to the invention possible to use an additional adjustment device to compensate for any present ametropia of the observer in the focusing telescope.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawings shown schematically.
Fig. I shows a side view of the adjustment device, namely seen from the left side of Fig. 2.
Abb.2 zeigt die erfindungsgemäße Einstellvorrichtung in Aufsicht.Fig.2 shows the adjustment device according to the invention in plan.
In the embodiment shown, counted from the eye of the observer after the objective, the following optically effective parts follow one another: In the viewing opening there is some lens a with a small focal length. This is followed by the image-inverting system, consisting of the inverting prism b and the prism c, which is arranged above the viewing lens a. The prism c has two reflective surfaces d, e, of which the surface e in the middle part is half-mirrored or is expediently completely transparent. In front of the prism c at the level of the partially mirrored surface e is the lens / which forms the viewing opening of the viewfinder and which has the same focal length as the ocular lens a. The beam path passing through the central transparent part of the prism surface e strikes the angled prism h, through which it is deflected in the direction of the range finder lens i. This lens consists of a displaceably mounted lens, the focal length of which is significantly greater than the focal length of the eyepiece a, so that an enlarged distance measurement image is generated. The beam-splitting surface e combines the viewfinder image and the distance measurement image in such a way that. In the real image plane, on the one hand, the viewfinder image and in the middle of it in a sharp delimitation an enlarged image section of the same appears, the focus of which can be brought about by moving the lens i. According to the invention, the lens i is mechanically connected to the camera lens in such a way that when the lens i is displaced, the camera lens is focused at the same time. If you want to use a rangefinder lens with a particularly large focal length, instead of the lens 1, a fixed angle prism is provided, which again deflects the rangefinder beam path laterally in the direction of the viewfinder beam path. Next to the finder lens f, a further angular prism and finally the rangefinder lens with a large focal length are arranged in front of it. The individual prisms can optionally also be combined to form a single rod-shaped body. It is also within the meaning of the invention to use lenses of different focal lengths in the viewfinder system in order to achieve an enlarged or reduced viewfinder image.
If you arrange the viewing opening of the rangefinder in a line with the search outlook opening, one gives the one that deflects the second beam path Reflective surface only in the middle full or semi-transparent mirroring, while the outer border that lets through the viewfinder image is left completely non-reflective.
