- 2. Emulgator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet/ daß der Kohlenwasserstoff-Substituent ein Alkyl-,10 Alkenyl- oder Aralkylrest ist.
- 3. Emulgator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Kohlenwasserstoff-Substituent 10 bis 30 Kohlenstoff atome enthält.
- 4. Emulgator nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet,daß der Kohlenwasserstoff-Substituent 12 bis 25 Kohlenstoffatome enthält.
- 5· Emulgator nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Kohlenwasserstoff-Substituent ein Alkenylrest ist.
- 6. Emulgator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet,daß die polaren Gruppen Amino-, Aminoxid-, Hydroxyl-, Ether-, SuIfoxid-, Sulfhydryl- oder Nitrogruppen
sind. - 7. Emulgator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die wasserlösliche Verbindung ein Polyethylen-glycol oder Alkoxypolyethylenglycol ist.
- 8. Emulgator nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet,· daß die wasserlösliche Verbindung ein Methoxypoly-35 ethylenglycol ist.
- 9. Emulgator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das hydrophob/hydrophile Gleichgewicht einen Wert im Bereich von etwa 9 bis 16 auf der als "Hydrophil-Lipophil-Balance" bekannten HLB-Skala hat.
- 10. Emulgator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Bernsteinsäureanhydrid ein von Maleinsäureanhydrid und Olefinen im C1.Q- bis C3Q-Bereich abstammendes Alkenylbernsteinsäureanhydrid und die wasserlösliche Verbindung ein Methoxypolyethylenglycol mit einem Molekulargewicht von etwa 550 ist.
- 11. Emulgator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Bernsteinsäureanhydrid ein von Ilaleinsäureanhydrid und Olefinen im C.Q- bis C3Q-Bereich abstammendes Alkenylbernsteinsäureanhydrid und die wasserlösliche Verbindung ein Polyethylenglycol mit einem Molekulargewicht von etwa 1000 ist.
- 12. Stabile Masse aus Kohlenwasserstoff-substituiertem Bernsteinsäureanhydrid und Emulgator, gekennzeichnet durch einen Gehalt ana) 70 bis 99,5 % eines normalerweise flüssigen Kohlenwasserstoff-substituierten Bernsteinsäureanhydrids mit 6 bis 50 Kohlenstoffatomen im Substituenten undb) 0,5 bis 30 % eines Emulgators, der das Reaktionsprodukt aus einem Kohlenwasserstoff-substituierten Bernsteinsäureanhydrid mit 6 bis 50 Kohlenstoffatomen im Substituenten und mindestens einer nichtionischen wasserlöslichen Verbindung mit 1 bis 3 reaktiven polaren Gruppen, die eine zur Bildung eines ausgeglichenen öl-in-Wasser-Emulgiermittels ausreichende Hydrophilizitätskraft besitzt, ist, welches eine freie Carboxylgruppe und eine substituierte Carboxylgruppe pro umgesetztes Anhydridmolekül aufweist.
- 13. Masse nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kohlenwasserstoff-Substituenten der Komponenten a) und b) unabhängig voneinander aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Alkyl, Alkenyl und Aralkyl ausgewählt sind.
- 14. Masse nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kohlenwasserstoff-Substituenten der Komponenten a) und b) Alkenyl sind.
- 15. Masse nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kohlenwasserstoff-Substituenten der Komponenten a) und b) jeweils 10 bis 30 Kohlenstoffatome aufweisen.
- 16. Masse nach Anspruch 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kohlenwasserstoff-Substituenten der Komponenten a) und b) jeweils 12 bis 25 Kohlenstoffatome aufweisen.
- 17. Masse nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet,· daß die polaren Gruppen unabhängig voneinander aus der
Gruppe bestehend aus Amino-, Aminoxid-, Hydroxyl-,
Ether-, SuIfoxid-, Sulfhydryl- und Nitrorest ausgewählt sind. - 18. Masse nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die wasserlösliche Verbindung ein Polyethylenglycol oder Alkoxypolyethylenglycol ist.
- 19. Masse nach Anspruch 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die wasserlösliche Verbindung ein Methoxypolyethylenglycol ist.
- 20. Masse nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Emulgator der Komponente b) ein hydrophob/hydrophiles Gleichgewicht hat, das einem Wert im Bereich von etwa 9 bis 16 auf der als "Hydrophil-Lipophil-M Ζ» *f 1 ♦ *— 5— 1 Balance" bekannten HLB-Skala entspricht.
- 21. Masse nach Anspruch 12/ dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Bernsteinsäureanhydrid der Komponenten a) undb) ein von Maleinsäureanhydrid und Olefinen im C10- bis CoQ-Bereich abstammendes Alkeny!bernsteinsäureanhydrid und die wasserlösliche Verbindung der Komponente b) ein Methoxypolyethylenglycol mit einem Molekulargewicht von etwa 550 ist.
- 22. Masse nach Anspruch 12/ dadurch gekennzeichnet, daßdas Bernsteinsäureanhydrid der Komponenten a) und b) ein von Maleinsäureanhydrid und Olefinen im C.Q- bis C-sp-Bereich abstammendes Alkenylbernsteinsäureanhydrid und die wasserlösliche Verbindung der Komponente b) ein Polyethylenglycol mit einem Molekulargewicht von etwa 1000 ist.
- 23. Masse nach Anspruch 12,'dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie in Form einer wäßrigen Emulsion vorliegt.
- 24. Verwendung der Masse nach Anspruch 12 zum Wasserabstoßendmachen von zur Reaktion mit Anhydriden befähigte Gruppen aufweisenden Oberflächen durch Imprägnieren der Oberflächen mit der Masse in Form einer wäßrigen Emulsion.
- 25. Verwendung nach Anspruch 24, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es sich bei den Oberflächen um solche von30 Cellulosematerialien handelt.
- 26. Verwendung der Masse nach Anspruch 12 zum Leimen von Papier durch innige Dispergierung der Masse in Form einer wäßrigen Emulsion in der feuchten Pulpe von der endgültigen Umwandlung der Pulpe in eine trockene Papierbahn.—δ-Ι
- 27. Emulgator in Form einer stabilen Masse, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß er das Reaktionsprodukt ausa) einem im stöchiometrischen Überschuß eingesetzten Kohlenwasserstoff-substituierten Bernsteinsäureanhydrids mit 6 bis 50 Kohlenstoffatomen im Substituenten undb) mindestens einer nichtionischen wasserlöslichen Verbindung mit 1 bis 3 reaktiven polaren Gruppen, die eine zur Bildung eines ausgeglichenen öl-in-Wasser-Emulgiermittels ausreichende Hydrophilizi-tätskraft besitzt,ist, das eine freie Carboxylgruppe und eine substituierte Carboxylgruppe pro umgesetztes Anhydridmolekül aufweist.28. Verwendung des Emulgators nach Anspruch 27 zum Wasserabstoßendmachen von zur Reaktion mit Anhydriden befähigte Gruppen aufweisenden Oberflächen durch Imprägnieren der Oberflächen mit dem in Form einer20 wäßrigen Emulsion vorliegenden Emulgator.29. Verwendung des Emulgators nach Anspruch 27 zum Leimen von Papier durch innige Dispergierung des in Form einer wäßrigen Emulsion vorliegenden Emulgators in der feuchten Pulpe vor der endgültigen Umwandlung der Pulpe in eine trockene Papierbahn.30. Verwendung des Emulgators nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 11 zur Herstellung einer stabilen Masse aus Kohlenwasserstoff-substituiertem Bernsteinsäureanhydrid und nichtionogenem Emulgator durch Vermischen von 0,5 bis 30 % des Emulgators mit 70 bis" 99,5 % eines normalerweise flüssigen Kohlenwasserstoff-substituierten Bernsteinsäureanhydrids mit 6 bis 50 Kohlenstoff-35 atomen im Substituenten.
